Assembly Instructions
Traditional Bike Racks
LBRMING - Medallion Bike Rack, In Ground Mount
LBRMSURF - Medallion Bike Rack, Surface Mount
BIKE RACK COMPONENTS: ASSEMBLY HARDWARE: All hardware is stainless steel.
(1) In Ground Mounting Pole

Carriage Bolts
ASSEMBLY:
Inspect the shipping container contents for damage and to determine that all components and hardware are present.1.
2. Lay all parts on a so work surface or on the shipping packaging to prevent damage to nish.
3. Insert one of the carriage bolts through the top mounting hole of the medallion. Make sure the square throat of the bolt lines up with
the square hole of the medallion. Place a 3/8" at washer on the end of the bolt and then insert it through the top mounting hole of the
mounting pole.
NOTE: Before assembling the nuts to the bolts, it is recommended that a light oil or petroleum jelly be applied to the screw threads.

Surface Mount
(1) Medallion (4) 3/8" Flat Washers (2) 3/8"-16
Breakaway Nuts
Place a 3/8" at washer and then thread one of the 3/8"-16 breakaway nuts, with the
cone shape toward the washer, onto the end of the bolt. Do not tighten the nut; leave
room to allow for adjustments.
Repeat step 2 to install the remaining hardware. Once all hardware is installed tighten it
with the ratchet and 9/16" socket until the hex head breaks away.
