1 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The MCA-1N is a high performance digital paging station for professional PA/VA systems
that fulfill the EN 60849 standard.
The sound processing has been configured to achieve high quality results on the paging of
voice, in terms of distortion, sensitivity, bandwidth and signal/noise ratio. The MCA-1N
includes as well a high quality microphone capsule.
It can be controlled and supervised through an Ethernet network with the LDA Software
SIME. It features functions such as “call-all” button, busy line signal, permission to speak
granted and a display to show the state of the microphone and the system.
It has an iron chassis to provide a superior stability and protection against damages. All
buttons are designed for an intensive use and the main talk-button is made of stainless
steel.

2 CONTROLS
Display: Shows this information:
Wellcome menu: LDA MCA-1N
Line activity menu: Conceded word, Busy line.
Error menu: Server Offline, Error microphone capsule, Aux. System offline, Failure
in ISL or loudspeakers, failure in the audio matrix, others failures send by the
server.
Information menu of the system currently being used: Aux. System online.
System Fail: It will turn red if the system fail.
Conceded word: It will turn green when the server paging grant us permission to speak.
Busy Line: It will turn red if the areas are busy by another MCA with higher priority.
Talk Button: Push to talk. If the conceded word indicator turn green, you can talk.

A +: positive balanced audio output.
A-: negative balanced audio output.

3. DIP SWITCH: Select the IP address of the MCA-1N desk microphone by setting the
last 8 bits of the address. The IP address of a MCA-1N microphone will be: 192.168.0.XXX
Where XXX is the number that conrresponds to the 8-bit hexadecimal configuration.
NOTE: The ON position means 0, and the OFF position means 1. The most significant bit
is the switch no1 and switch no8 is the bit with less weight.
4. LOCAL POWER CONNECTOR: The MCA-1N works with a local power supply of 5V
to be connected to this connector. The connection must follow pinout:
