➤ Shorten the length of the holder to 71 mm.
➤ Glue the coupling switch vertically onto the holder.
➤ Screw the holder onto the existing M6 screw with a M6 nut (scope of
delivery of the speed regulator).
➤ Glue the magnet of the clutch switch on the opposite side horizontally
onto the clutch pedal.
Vehicles after 2003 befor 2006
➤ Glue the clutch switch onto the holder of the original clutch switch.
➤ Glue the magnet of the clutch switch on the opposite side horizontally
onto the clutch pedal.
5 Tapping the speed signal
Vehicles before 2003 (8, page 4)
➤ Tap the speed signal from the 10-pin black plug on the instrument cluster.
The speed signal is located on pin 6 white/lilac cable. The plug is located
on the right side of the instrument cluster.

The speed signal must be tapped from the engine control device.
Vehicles after 2003 can be identified by their modified instrument
clusters with digital KM display.
The engine control device is located on the left side in the engine compartment
behind the coolant reservoir. To expose the plug, proceed as follows:
➤ Unscrew the coolant reservoir (2 x M6 screws).
➤ Detach the coolant reservoir from the top and push it downward.
✓ The engine control device is now accessible.
➤ Screw on the additional earth connection.
Caution!
After installation, screw the earth connection back on.
This may otherwise damage the engine control device.
➤ Screw the engine control device plug back on.
➤ Remove the main screw from the engine control device plug (9, page 4).
➤ Pull off the engine control plug and pull it to the front.
