SERVICE INSTRUCTION FOR THE STAFF FOR FIRE
CONTROL PANEL FS 6000
1. DUTY MODE – the fire control panel monitors the status of all
integrated units and processes the registered events as per the programmed
modes and parameters. DUTY MODE is the status where no fire condition or
fault condition is detected in the fire alarm system.
In DUTY MODE is possible some yellow LEDs oh fire alarm zones to
flash constantly, a text message, appears on the display is DUTI MODE and
the time.
If flash the yellow LEDs flash or is necessary to look for
technical specialist for repair of power or backup battery supply.
2. FIRE CONDITION
In fire condition, in the protected area, the control panel’s sounder
releases continuous double tones sound signal and simultaneously, the
indicators of the zone in fire condition start flashing. A text message, appears
on the display and indicates the line in fire condition, text message for fast
location of the fire and the delay time for activation of outputs that trigger
signalization.
Press button and the sound signaling for fire condition will be
interrupted, as fast as possible check for fire condition in the indicated
line/zones (activated fire detectors). If no fire exists (no smoke, heat or
flames) and the activation of the fire detector is false alarm, quickly go back to
the fire control panel and press the Reset Button (pos.10) - . The fire
control panel is set to Duty Mode. If fire condition exists (smoke, heat or
flames), when the INSPECTION TIME elapse the panel will switch in FIRE
CONDITION STAGE TWO and will activate outside sounders. The panel can
be switched in DUTY MODE by pressing the RESET BUTTON .
3. FAULT CONDITION IN THE PERIPHERAL DEVICES
If exists the events (interruption or short circuit in fire alarm line,
removed detector and etc.), which disturb the normal work of the fire alarm
system follow activation on sound and light signalization of the panel.
3.1. Fault or removed detector
If exist this events, follow activation single tones discontinuous sound
signal and the text message, appears on the display show the line and the
detector is in fault condition or is removed. The yellow LED indicator on the
zone, where is placed the detector is blinking.
3.2. Other faults.
If exists another technical faults or unrecognized intervention are
possible follow text messages on the display:
- SHORT CIRCUIT IN LINE
- INTERRUPTION IN LINE
- SHORT CIRCUIT IN LOOP
- INTERRUPTION IN LOOP
- BROKEN LOOP
The fire alarm panel detects the whole range of these events and
signalize for them with single tone sound signal during 10 sec on each 2
minutes.
It is necessary to inform immediately the technical specialist, for each
one message for fault.
