A) Press power button on side of monitor to

turn on power.

B) Press the “Settings” Touch Screen button.

C) Press the “Module Setup” button.

that this will require the monitor to restart,

upon restart, ALL current patient alarm

data will be purged.

Step 2: Module Setup menu

A) Press the “Off” Touch Screen button next to CO2.

Step 3: Module Setup menus

A) Press the “On” Touch Screen button.

B) Press “X” on top of Module Setup menu.

Step 4: Warning Menu

A) Press the “Ok” button in Warning menu to restart.

B) Count down starts and shuts down monitor.

C) Press power on side of monitor to restart monitor.

Step 5: Settings - Masimo ONLY

A) Press the “Settings” Touch Screen button.

B) Press “User Maintenance” from Settings menu.

Note: The options you have selected requires the monitor to restart,

Upon restart, all current patient alarm data will be purged.

Step 7: CO2 Type - Masimo ONLY

A) Press “Respironics” button beside

CO2 Type.

B) Press “Masimo”” button.

Step 8: Warning Menu - Masimo ONLY

A) Press the “Ok” button in Warning menu.

B) Press power on side of monitor to shutdown monitor.

C) Count down starts and shuts down monitor.

D) Press power on side of monitor to restart monitor.

procedures and parameter setup and usage instructions.

Step 6: Password - Masimo ONLY

A) Press in box next to Enter Passwords.

B) Enter password “2013” and press “Enter”.

C) Press “Ok” button in Passwords menu

Step 1: Check Software Version

A) Turn on power button for monitor.

B) Press the “NEXT” Touch Screen Quick Access button.

C) Press the “Main Menu” Touch Screen Quick Access button.

D) Scroll down and press the “Info” button.

E) If software version is 1.0.X or 2.0.0, the Cardell Touch is out

of date and requires an update. Contact technical service

at 1-800-MIDMARK x8750 for an electronic download.

F) If software version is 3.0.1 or newer, continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Monitor setup.

A) Press the “Main Menu” Touch Screen Quick Access button.

B) Press the “Monitor Setup” button.

C) Press the “Module Setup” button.

D) Scroll down and press “CO2” to show the side menu which

displays “ON” and “OFF.

E) Press “ON” to turn CO2 module on. The side menu will

automatically close once ON or OFF buttons are pressed.

Close Module Setup Menu.

F) Refer to Cardell Touch User’s Guide for CO2 (mainstream)

and (sidestream) connection procedures and parameter

setup and usage instructions.
