Metro L01-485 is a versatile shelving system designed for various storage applications. Its qwikSLOT shelves and posts allow for easy assembly and adjustment, making it suitable for both stationary and mobile unit configurations. The system can handle evenly distributed weight capacities of up to 300 lbs. for qwikSLOT shelves and 250 lbs. for qwikSLOT Drop Mat shelves.

DESCRIPTION

qwikSLOTTM Shelves / qwikSLOTTM Drop Mat Shelves – This instruction sheet covers

installation of SES Shelves to Post.

Stationary UnitMobile Unit

Unitsover 50" (127cm)high must be assembledwithatleast

threeshelves, and preferablyfour or more.

Placeshelving on solid and levelfloors.

Level the unitby adjusting thelevelingfeet.

Install bottomshelfaslow as possible. NSFrequiresthat the

lowestshelfbeatleast6”(152mm) abovethe floor.

Formobile units:lubricatethe castersregularly and replace worn

castersimmediately.

WARNING-TIPPING HAZARD

FOR BEST PERFORMANCE...

Do not stand or climbon shelving.

Place heavy objectsonlowest shelf.

Distribute weight as evenlyas possible.

Do not drop heavy objectson shelves or subject units to shock such

as forklifts or dollies.

Move mobile units along long axis only( ).

8” (203mm) diameter casters must not be used on units less than

21” (533mm) wide.

Strictly follow weight capacity guidelines below.

NEVER exceed 800 lbs. (363 kg) on any Storage System

*Forall stationaryunits with footplatesorwallbrackets properly attached to the flooror

wall, themaximum allowablepostheight is 96" (2438mm). Stationaryunits over 96”

(2438mm) high areconsideredHi-Riseapplicationsand must be submittedtoInterMetro

• ANY QWIkSLOT shelf can be angled 10° simply by adjusting the rear clips 2" (51 mm) higher than the front clips.

• For a slanted shelf with a 45° slope, simply install a qwikSLOT shelf that is one width-size size larger than the top and bottom Super Erecta collared shelf.
