death. A TV that is too large for the available space might be accidentally pushed or bumped o the furniture, or subject to tip-over.

• Check the size and weight of your TV. Compare it to the diagram below – before you begin assembly!

• This Sauder unit is designed for use with televisions weighing less than 70 pounds. Never use with a TV that weighs more.

• The size of the television, front-to-back and side-to-side, must ﬁ t within the space deﬁ ned in the diagram.

• Never place the front edge of the TV past the front edge of the TV support shelf (or stop molding – if equipped)

• Never allow the sides of the TV to extend past the side edges of the TV support surface.

• If the TV has a CRT picture tube, the picture tube cone may extend past the rear of the support shelf.

• Be sure to apply the warning label as instructed in the last assembly step. The label provides important safety related information.

carton to avoid scratching your unit or the ﬂ oor.

å Push eight HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B) and

UPRIGHTS (C and D). Then, insert a CAM DOWEL (2F) into

each HIDDEN CAM.

å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the

BACK (H) and lay it over your unit.

å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (H). Push

on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square".

å Fasten the BACK (H) to your unit using the NAILS (1N).

å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the

BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed.

å Fasten the FEET (1E) to the BOTTOM (F). Use four BLACK

9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (51S).

å Fasten the DRAWER SIDES (D40 and D41) to the DRAWER BACK (D69).

Use four BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (30S).

å Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (D621) into the grooves in the DRAWER

SIDES (D40 and D41) and DRAWER BACK (D69).

å With a hammer, gently tap four SHELF SNAPS (6R) into the

holes in the SMALL ADJUSTABLE SHELF (J).

å Repeat this step for the other SMALL ADJUSTABLE SHELF (J).

å Carefully stand your unit upright.

å Insert eight METAL PINS (1R) into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHTS (C and D). Now,

set the SMALL ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (J) onto the METAL PINS so the SHELF SNAPS are resting on the METAL PINS.

Push on the SHELVES until each METAL PIN "snaps" into the SHELF SNAPS.

å NOTE: If you wish to change the location of the SMALL ADJUSTABLE SHELVES, tap the SHELVES up with the palm of

your hand.

å To insert the drawer into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on

the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit.

å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen the SCREWS in the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS, make needed

adjustments, and tighten the SCREWS.

å Center a SCREW COVER (20P) over the head of each visible SCREW and press ﬁ rmly.

å Push a CAM COVER (12P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM.

å Apply the WARNING LABEL (2L) to the TOP (E). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the

unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel o the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.

å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it.

å To help prevent the TV from sliding, place the ANTI-SKID PAD (3M) under the front support of the TV or divide among the

front supports if more than one.

å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information.

å This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry.

AVERTISSEMENT

L'utilisation d'un téléviseur trop lourd ou large est dangereuse. Un

téléviseur trop lourd créera un risque de basculement pouvant

provoquer de graves blessures voire la mort. Un téléviseur trop

large pour l'espace disponible risque d'être accidentellement

poussé ou de tomber du mobilier ou d'être sujet à basculer.

• Vériﬁ er la taille et le poids du téléviseur. Le comparer au

diagramme ci-dessous avant de commencer l'assemblage !

• Cette unité Sauder est conçue pour les téléviseurs pesant moins

de 31,75 kg. Ne jamais utiliser avec des téléviseurs plus lourds.

• La taille du téléviseur, d'avant en arrière et latéralement, doit

rentrer dans l'espace déﬁ ni sur le schéma.

• Ne jamais placer le chant avant du téléviseur au-delà du chant

avant de la tablette de support de téléviseur (ou de la moulure de

butée, le cas échéant).

• Ne jamais laisser les côtés du téléviseur dépasser les chants

latéraux de la surface de support du téléviseur.

• Si le téléviseur comporte un tube cathodique à image, la robe du

tube à image peut dépasser l'arrière de la tablette de support.

• S'assurer d'apposer l'étiquette d'avertissement tel qu'il l'est

indiqué dans la dernière étape d'assemblage. L'étiquette fournit

d'importantes informations relatives à la sécurité.

ÉTAPE 1

Ne pas serrer les EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES dans

cette étape.

Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide

pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol.

Enfoncer huit EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans

les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et les MONTANTS (C et D). Ensuite,

insérer une CHEVILLE D'EXCENTRIQUE (2F) dans chaque

EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE.

ÉTAPE 4

Fixer les MONTANTS (C et D) au DESSUS (E). Serrer quatre

EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.

ÉTAPE 5

Fixer les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) au DESSUS (E). Serrer quatre

EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.

ÉTAPE 2

Fixer l'ÉLÉMENT DROITE (35DA) et l'ÉLÉMENT GAUCHE (35DB)

aux MONTANTS (C et D). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES TÊTE

PLATE 8 mm (3S).

ÉTAPE 6

Fixer le DESSOUS (F) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et aux MONTANTS (C

et D). Utiliser huit VIS NOIRES TÊTE PLATE 48 mm (2S).

ÉTAPE 3

Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale

avant d'avoir ﬁ xé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'e ondrer.

Fixer les MONTANTS (C et D) à la TABLETTE (G). Utiliser quatre

VIS NOIRES TÊTE PLATE 48 mm (2S).

ÉTAPE 7

Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale

avant d'avoir ﬁ xé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'e ondrer.

Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Déplier

l'ARRIÈRE (H) et le placer sur l'élément.

Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants de

l'ARRIÈRE (H). Si besoin est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de

l'élément pour s'assurer d'être « d'équerre ».

Fixer l'ARRIÈRE (H) à l'élément à l'aide des CLOUS (1N).

REMARQUE : Des lignes perforées ont été prévues pour accéder

facilement à l'ARRIÈRE. Découper avec précaution les trous

nécessaires.

Fixer les PIEDS (1E) au DESSOUS (F). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES

TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 14 mm (51S).

ÉTAPE 8

Enﬁ ler les CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D40 et D41) sur l'ARRIÈRE

DE TIROIR (D69). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE

PLATE 40 mm (30S).

Enﬁ ler le FOND DE TIROIR (D621) dans les rainures des CÔTÉS

DE TIROIR (D40 et D41) et de l'ARRIÈRE DE TIROIR (D69).

ÉTAPE 9

Séparer les CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE TIROIR (7G) et les enﬁ ler

dans les rainures des CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D40 et D41).

Fixer le DEVANT DE TIROIR (K) aux CONSOLES DE DEVANT DE

TIROIR. Utiliser deux VIS MARRON TÊTE LARGE 11 mm (6S).

ÉTAPE 10

Fixer le TIROIR DROIT (35DC) et le TIROIR GAUCHE (35DD)

aux CÔTÉS DE TIROIR (D40 et D41). Utiliser quatre VIS DORÉES

TÊTE PLATE 8 mm (3S).

Fixer la POIGNÉE (45K) au DEVANT DE TIROIR (K). Utiliser deux

VIS ARGENTÉES À MÉTAUX 19 mm (53S).

ÉTAPE 13

Centrer un COUVERCLE DE VIS (20P) sur la tête de chaque VIS

et appuyer fermement.

Enfoncer un COUVERCLE D'EXCENTRIQUE (12P) sur chaque

EXCENTRIQUE ESCAMOTABLE visible.

Apposer l'ÉTIQUETTE DE MISE EN GARDE (2L) au DESSUS (E).

Cette étiquette doit pouvoir être lisible lorsque le téléviseur est

enlevé de l'élément.

Lorsque le téléviseur est en place, il doit la dissimuler. Décoller le

ﬁ lm protecteur et apposer l'étiquette comme l'indique le schéma.

REMARQUE : Cette étiquette permanente est prévue pour durer

pendant toute la vie du produit. Une fois apposée ne pas essayer

de la retirer.

Pour éviter que le téléviseur ne glisse, placer le TAMPON

ANTIDÉRAPANT (3M) sous le support avant du téléviseur ou

séparer entre toutes les supports avant.

REMARQUE : Prière de lire les informations importantes sur la

sécurité ﬁ gurant sur les pages arrière du manuel d’instructions.

Ceci complète l'assemblage. Nettoyer à l’aide d’une encaustique

pour meubles ou d’un chi on humide. Essuyer.

ÉTAPE 11

À l'aide d'un marteau, enfoncer légèrement quatre

CLIQUETS DE TABLETTE (6R) dans les trous de la PETITE

TABLETTE RÉGLABLE (J).

Répéter cette étape pour l'autre PETITE TABLETTE RÉGLABLE (J).

ÉTAPE 12

Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale.

Insérer huit GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (1R) dans les trous choisis

dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et les MONTANTS (C et D).

Maintenant, placer les PETITES TABLETTES RÉGLABLES (J)

sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL de façon à ce que les CLIQUETS

DE TABLETTE soient reposés sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL.

Appuyer sur les TABLETTES jusqu'à ce que chaque GOUPILLE EN

MÉTAL « s'enclenche » dans les CLIQUETS DE TABLETTE.

REMARQUE : Pour changer l'emplacement des PETITES

TABLETTES RÉGLABLES, enfoncer les TABLETTES vers le haut

avec la main.

Enfoncer les MANCHONS EN CAOUTCHOUC (2R) sur les

GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (1R) restantes. Insérer les GOUPILLES EN

MÉTAL dans les trous choisis dans les MONTANTS (C et D). Poser

la TABLETTE RÉGLABLE (I) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL.

Pour insérer le tiroir dans l'élément, abaisser le devant du tiroir

et faire passer les roulettes situées sur le tiroir derrière les

roulettes situées sur l'élément. Relever le devant du tiroir et

l'enﬁ ler dans l'élément.

Pour ajuster les tiroirs, desserrer les VIS dans les CONSOLES DE

DEVANT DE TIROIR, ajuster et serrer les VIS.
