2. Disassemble and Assemble procedure

Step 1

Take off top cover.

Please open the top cover

with hand which stuck on

the camera .

Step 2

Take off rear cover and

flash board.

Please loosen 3 screws to

take off rear cover and flash

board.

Take off front cover.

Please first take off the

macro switch and USB

cover and then to loosen 8

screws to take front cover

apart.

Take off LCD panel.

Disconnect connector to take

off LCD panel and please be

careful not to scratch the

LCD panel.

Step 5

Take off battery box.

Loosen 2 screws of switch

board and 2 screws of main

board to take off battery box,

be careful to lever switch

board a little while taking off

battery box.

the switch board.

3. Troubleshooting Guide

Problem Solution

A. No Power

Replace battery.

Replace switch board.

Replace main board.

B. Can not connect to PC

Replace USB cable.

Replace main board.

C. Can not snap

Replace shutter button.

Replace switch board.

D. Speaker no sound

Replace speaker.

Replace main board.

E.LCD no image

Reassemble LCD panel.

Replace LCD panel.

Replace main board.

F. No flash

Replace flash board.

z Check if battery voltage is 3.7 V , if not please recharge or replace

battery.

switch board.

z Check USB cable, please use a same and good USB cable to check

whether G-Shot G512 connects to PC, if yes that means the old

USB cable is failed please replace a new USB cable ;if not please

replace main board.

z Check shutter button is bad or broken, if yes please replace shutter

button.

Here is easily broken (as red arrow pointed)

while assembling shutter button. Please press

on/off button after assembling to check

whether you can turn on.
