CAUTION: Use gas purge switch on wire feeder or
power source to check gas flow or shut off
wire feed before triggering the torch to avoid
damaging the gas meter.
1. Place conical end of gas meter over end of mig torch
nozzle or tig torch gas shielding cup.
2. Position torch so that the gas
meter is in the vertical pos-
ition.
3.
With the argon or argon
mixed gas flowing, read
the meter at the center
of the ball.
