Attention when using the display module!
The display module is permitted exclusively for safety extra low voltage (SELV) and
protective extra low voltage (PELV).
Avoid direct solar radiation (ambient temperature max. +50 °C)!
Direct solar radiation reduces the durability of the liquid crystals in the display.

Installation
Install the display module into the front panel
Remove the display unit from the module plate
Loosen the 4 x panhead screws (1)
with the enclosed allen key 2.5 mm.
Pull off the display unit from the module
plate (2).
Install the module plate and display unit in the front panel
Put the module plate (2) onto the front
panel (3) and fix it with the enclosed 4 x
fastening nuts M4 (4).
Note: The sealing strip (5) which sticks
to the module plate must face upwards!
Put the display unit onto the module
plate
and fix it with the 4 x panhead screws
(1).
Note: The orientation arrow (6)
on the type lable must face upwards!
Dismounting has to be realised in re-
verse order!

Another logo or image can be configured as

AMI1010x). Upload the image with the software
ADx configurator into the memory of the front-
door station with modules.

The display module is delivered pre-configured ex works with the keypad module
AMI10300 (corresponding to keypad new).
When the jogwheel module AMI10400 was selected, the display module must be
configured anew with the software ADx configurator or PS/2 keypad (see any pro-
gramming manual Functional group with display module AMI1010x.)

Door release via codelock (only for front-door stations with keypad module)
For display front-door stations with keypad module, three access codes can be set. These
can be used for the door release by all authorised persons.
The enter menu can only be called up from the start screen.

Repair
Display module AMI1010x: Replace the EEPROM storage
!
Modifications of dataset and parameter are not stored automatically.
After all modifications, carry out the following steps Various > save storage, to trans-
fer the modifications on the EEPROM (see enclosed programming manual Func-
tional group with display module AMI1010x).
All programmed data such as serial numbers and parameter are stored in the EEPROM. If
the front-door station needs to be replaced, the EEPROM storage can be removed from
the programmed front-door station and installed into the new, comparable front-door sta-
tion.
1. Eventually save the data of the display (Various > Save storage).
2. Open the housing.
3. Disconnect the display from the power supply: pull off the connection socket.
4. The EEPROM storage is located in the elctronic part (corresponding to the display
module). Pull off the EEPROM storage.
5. Plug the EEPROM storage into the new, unprogrammed display module on the pins.

Observe the orientation of the EEPROM storage: the component site must be facing
you.
6. Connect the front-door station to mains voltage again.
7. Conduct Load storage. Observe the software version (Various > Load storage, page 20)
to transfer the data into the electronic module.
Observe when transfer data from a previous version
After the upload process is finished (step 7), remove the EEPROM storage of the dis-
play front-door station DIT (software version 2.7.x / 3.x.x) out of the display module
again. Otherwise the real time clock doesn’t work any longer.
