Safety Instructions
Make sure the supplied voltage meets the power consumption
requirements of the camera before powering the camera on.
Incorrect voltage may cause damage to the camera.
The camera should be protected from water and moisture,
excessive heat, direct sunlight and cold.
This installation should be made by a qualied service person and
should conform to all local codes.
Unplug the camera during lightning storms or when unused for
long periods of time.

Part Names
1. Mounting Bracket Assembly: To attach to mounting surface and
adjust the camera at different angles.

2. Sunshield: Minimize the effects of rain and sunlight on image
quality.
3. Rear cap: Remove it to expose the camera connectors.
4. Front cap: Remove it to expose the lens and reset controls.

5. microSD/SDHC Card Slot: Insert a microSD/SDHC card to the
slot for recording and storage. (This function is not available for
models sold in Argentina).
6. Far/Near Control: Loosen to control to adjust the picture
sharpness.
7. Tele/Wide Control: Loosen the control to adjust the image view.
8. Reset (behind the PCB board): Use an appropriate tool to
press the button to reset the camera. Hold for 5 seconds to reboot
camera. Hold longer than 5 seconds to load default settings.

Power In (Red+ / Black-)
1. Power In: Connect to DC 12V/AC 24V (no heater model) or DC
24V/AC 24V (heater model) power supply. If using the DC power

supply, make sure the power connector is wired to correct polarities
(Red+/Black–). If you are to use power via the PoE connection, this
connector is not used.
2. RJ-45 (Ethernet/PoE): Connect to the LAN port of a standard
10BaseT/100BaseTX device, e.g., hub, switch or router. If you
are going to use PoE function, connect to a PoE-capable network
device. Power will be supplied through the Ethernet cable.
3. BNC: Connect to composite video in connector of a monitor.
4. Audio Out: Connect to an external speaker.
5. Audio In: Connect to an external microphone
6. Alarm Out: Connect to device that responds to alarm signals.
7. RS-485+/-: Reserved.
8. GND: Grounding.
9. Alarm IN 1/2: Connect to device that triggers alarm signals.
2. Installation

Warning
Note
The front and rear cap should NOT be removed over 30
minutes during installation. Otherwise, the desiccant may
absorb too much moisture and thus cause vapor.
Inserting Memory Card
1. Loosen the two sunshield xing screws and remove the sunshield.
2. Loosen the three screws to remove the mounting bracket assembly.
3. Loosen the three screws to remove the rear cap from the main
body.
4. Insert your microSD/SDHC card into the slot.

Caution
Warning Note
When inserting the memory card, make sure not to
disconnect any cables attached to the camera.
5. Re-assemble the rear cap and the mounting bracket assembly.
Mounting the Camera
1. Drill mounting holes and insert anchors.
In desired location, use the supplied Guide Pattern to drill three
5mm mounting holes. Then insert the supplied anchors into the
holes.
2. Pass all the signal cables through the hole for the cables.
Optionally connect a video monitor to the BNC connector if you
want to perform focus/zoom adjustments during the installation.
3. For static electricity protection, ensure that the rubber pad is
placed inside the mounting bracket base.
4. Place the three provided insulation caps onto the three tapping
screws. Insert the screws to the screw holes on the camera
bracket, and then tighten the screws to the anchors to attach the
camera .

Adjusting the View and Focus
Refer to the gure below, loosen the screws as needed to adjust the
camera to desired angel.
1. Loosen the screw to rotate the pipe segment.
2. Loosen the screw to tilt the bracket base.
3. Loosen the screws to rotate the bracket base.

4. Rotate the front cap to remove it from the main body.

5. Unlock the Near/Far and Wide/Tele screws to adjust the sharpness
and view. After the adjustment, lock the controls.
6. Re-install the front cap to the main body.

Caution
Warning Note
Securely fasten the front cap on the camera in order to
avoid water damage. The gap between the camera body
and the front cap should be less than 1mm.
7. Re-install the sunshield by screwing the two screws.

3. Initial Conguration
Before connecting the camera to your network infrastructure, it’s
suggested that you connect the camera to a computer rst to perform
initial congurations.
1. Congure the computer’s IP address to one other than the camera’s
default IP address, such as:
IP Address: 192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

2. Usning an Ethernet cable, connect the camera to the computer.
The LAN port of the camera supports auto MDI/MDIX so there is no
need to use a cross-over cable.
3. On the PC, launch a web browser and enter the IP address of the
camera in the URL eld:
http://192.168.1.30.
4. When prompted for login, enter the default user name: admin and
password: 1234 to login. Note that the user name and password
are case-sensitive.
5. Congure the settings to meet your requirements. For
more information, refer to the User Manual on the provided CD.
4. Connecting to Your Network
If you have multiple cameras installed on your network, you can use
the provided IP Finder utility to manage the cameras.
To enable remote access to the cameras from the Internet, you
must congure your router/rewall to open port numbers. For more
information, refer to the User Manual on the provided CD.

1. Entrada de la fuente de alimentación: Se conecta a una
fuente de suministro eléctrico CC de 12V / CA de 24V (Modelo sin
calentador) o CC de 12V / CA de 24V (Modelo con calentador).
Si va a utilizar la CC, asegúrese de que lo conecta en los puertos

correctos (Rojo+/Negro-). Si va a utilizar la electricidad de
la conexión Ethernet, no se utilizará este conector cuando se
suministre la electricidad por el PoE.
2. RJ-45 (Ethernet/PoE): Se conecta a un puerto LAN de un
dispositivo estándar 10Base/100Base-TX, como un hub, switch o
router. Si va a utilizar la función PoE, conéctelo a un dispositivo

monitor.

Las carcasas frontal y posterior NO deben extraerse 30

Introducción de la tarjeta de memoria
1. Aoje los dos tornillos de jación del protector solar y extraiga el
protector solar.
2. Aoje los tres tornillos para extraer la unidad del soporte de
montaje.
3. Aoje los tres tornillos para extraer la carcasa posterior de la pieza
principal.
4. Introduzca su tarjeta microSD/SDHC en la ranura.
