thoughtfully. Check contents: 1x stroller
frame/seat/hood, 1x bumper bar, 1x front
wheels, 1x front fork, 2x rear wheels, 1x
brake, 1x bassinet, 1x bassinet support bar.
B>TO OPEN
If your frame is locked, lift the securing strap
off the rivet head on the stroller frame (1).
On a clean flat surface, open the stroller
frame by lifting the handle upward.
The stroller frame will unfold from
beneath. (2) Press down on the locking
hinge with your hand or foot to lock
the chassis open.
IMPORTANT WARNING: ALWAYS TEST
THAT ALL LATCHES ARE SECURELY
ENGAGED BEFORE USE.
C>FRONT FORK
Standing in front of the stroller,
lift the stroller by the front tubes, tilting the
front leg section upward toward you.
Insert each tube of the front footrest
section into the corresponding tube
at the front of the stroller frame (3 & 4).
One leg at a time, depress each spring
loaded button (5 & 6) and further insert the
footrest into the stroller frame.
Continue to insert these tubes until
the footrest is fully locked into place
on both sides.
D>REAR AXLE
With the brake levers facing AWAY from the
stroller, match the plastic housings on the rear
brake section with the rear stroller legs (7).
One leg at a time, depress each spring
loaded button (8) and further insert the brake
section into the stroller frame, continue until
the brake is fully locked into place on both
sides.
E>REAR WHEELS & BRAKE
Depressing the button in the centre hub in
the rear wheel (9), insert each wheel axle in
turn, into the wheel hub. Push the wheel as
far as it will go before releasing the button.
IMPORTANT: PULL EACH WHEEL
SLIGHTLY BACK TOWARDS YOU TO
ENSURE THAT IT HAS FULLY ENGAGED IN
THE AXLE.
To use your brakes: with your foot, press
down on the centre of the brake lever to
simultaneously engage the brake in both
wheels (10).
To release, simply lift the lever with your foot.
IMPORTANT WARNING: ALWAYS TEST
THAT THE BRAKES ARE FULLY ENGAGED
BY PUSHING THE STROLLER FORWARD
AND BACKWARD.
F>FRONT WHEELS
Tip the stroller upward on its rear wheels
with the front fork facing to you.
Line up the front wheel inside the front fork
making sure that each anchor washer will be
located on the outside of either side of the
fork (11).
Lift the wheel so that the axle engages in
each track at either side of the fork. Gently
turn each anchor washer so that the tab rests
inside the securing hole in the fork (12).
Evenly tighten both sides of the axle so that
the wheel rests equally in the centre of the
fork (13).
G>SWIVEL WHEEL
Your Swivel Wheel can be set in one
of three different positions (14).
The Full swivel mode allows 360º
swivel motion for maximum maneuverability
of your stroller.
The 45º Swivel mode allows for some
maneuverability of your stroller as
the wheel can operate in a restricted
radius and is recommended for use
with an optional toddler seat.
The Locked mode fixes the wheel
in position.
H>SEAT RECLINE
To recline: While squeezing the seat
adjuster tabs (15) together in a pincer
like movement, ease the seat down to the
INSTRUCTIONS>STROLLER
desired position. Release the tabs and the
seat will automatically lock in that position
To incline: Place your hand in the centre of
the seat at the rear.
Pull the incline strap (16)
desired position.
I>HOOD
Place the plastic hood housings over the
corresponding housing on either side of the
stroller frame (17).
Align the straight track on the stroller housing
with the corresponding channel in the hood
housing. Slide the hood housing downward,
engaging the track fully in the hood channel
so it fully engages onto the stroller frame (18).
The Expanda hood unzips, increasing the
size of your standard hood to give greater
coverage and protection from the sun and
weather for your child.
To open the Expanda Hood:
Locate the zip in the center of the Expanda
Hood and unzip completely (19). Gently pull
the Expanda Hood forward until it is reaches
its full extension.
To close the Expanda Hood:
Gently push the Expanda Hood back, allowing
the middle section to fold in on itself. Carefully
zip the Expanda Hood closed.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS TAKE CARE WHEN
CLOSING THE EXPANDA HOOD TO AVOID
THE ZIPPER CATCHING ON THE ENCLOSED
FABRIC
J>BUMPER BAR
Insert the front bar ends into the nylon
housings located on either side of the frame.
Be sure that the bar is securely engaged(20)
.
To remove the front bar: Feeling the side of
the nylon housing that sits below the frame at
each side (facing inward), locate the release
button(s). Press each release button inward
while simultaneously pulling upward on the
bar housing. Repeat for the other side. Note
that this may be difficult to do as the bar is
secured firmly as a safety precaution (21).
IMPORTANT WARNING: THE FRONT BAR IS
NEITHER A RESTRAINING NOR CARRYING DEVICE.
K>HANDLE
To lower/raise the handle, simultaneously press
the release buttons on either side of the handle
and move to the desired position (22)
.
L>HARNESS
Your stroller harness is specifically designed
with many built in safety features.
This includes the requirement that, when
opened, all straps are released so that no
dangerous loops can be formed causing a
strangulation hazard.
WARNING: YOUR CHILD MUST ALWAYS
BE HARNESSED WHEN IN THE STROLLER
Closing your harness: Slide each of the
shoulder strap bottom guides (23) into the
corresponding channel on the top of each
side strap prong.
Insert each completed prong into the central
buckle housing (24).
Carefully adjust the harness straps to snugly
fit your child by adjusting the sliders (25)
located on each strap. The harness should
be fitted to your child’s body, tight enough
so that they cannot wriggle free of the straps
but, loose enough, so as not to cause any
discomfort.
For even more flexibility, the height at which
your shoulder straps are fitted to the stroller
can be adjusted at 3 points. To change the
shoulder strap position:
From the rear of the seat, thread the top of
the strap back through the harness slot (26)
by manoeuvring the locking ring so that it
fits through the slot.
Rethread the strap back through the desired
slot from the front of the seat
Opening your harness:
Press the central housing button (27).
This will release both side prongs from the
central housing. The shoulder and waist
straps will release automatically from each
other.
If the shoulder and waist straps do not
automatically disengage from each other,
manually slide the guides of the waist
channels. Your harness will separate into 5
sections.
IMPORTANT WARNING: WHEN NOT IN
USE, BE SURE THE SHOULDER AND WAIST
STRAPS ARE ALWAYS DISCONNECTED
FROM THE CENTRAL HOUSING AND EACH
OTHER.
M>FOLDING
Fold the hood up against the handle.
Release the locking clamps at either side
of the stroller (28). Simultaneously lift the
secondary safety catch and swing the
handle forward (29).
Holding the frame at the rear, press down
with your foot on the rear basket tube. This
will disengage the side hinge locks (30).
Continue pushing the rear of the basket,
moving the rear wheels forward beneath the
frame.
You can lock the frame closed by
stretching the locking strap over the
frame, placing the metal catch over
the rivet on the chassis (31).
N>BASSINET ASSEMBLY
Pull back the inner lining and locate the wire
support frames (32).
Lifting the top bassinet frame slightly and
using the finger loop on each support frame,
pull each outward to create the bassinet
body
Be sure to pull each frame as far as it can go
and lock into the stoppers found on the base
of the bassinet (33).
IMPORTANT WARNING: ALWAYS TEST
THAT THE SUPPORT FRAME IS FULLY
LOCKED INTO POSTION
O>REMOVE BUMPER BAR
Remove the front stroller bumper bar by
simultaneously pressing on the tabs, on
both sides, in the bottom of the bar and
lifting it from the frame housing (34) (refer
to point J).
P>INSERT SUPPORT BAR
Insert bassinet support bar into the stroller
frame housing in the same manner as the
bumper bar (35).
Q>ADJUST SUPPORT BAR
Adjust the bar to its lowest position which
will allow the bassinet to be easily inserted
into the pram body (36).
IMPORTANT: BE SURE THAT YOUR
STROLLER SEAT IS FULLY RECLINED.
R>DRESSING
Fold fabrics inside out. Line up each of the
press studs.
Pull the harness through the slits.
Straighten the inner lining in the bassinet
neatly.
Secure by wrapping the end of the lining
over the bassinet sides and end. Straighten
the fabric (37).
S>INSTALLATION
Insert the bassinet into the stroller body as
far as it will go (38).
Simultaneously pressing the buttons at
either side of the bassinet bar, lift it upward
until the bassinet sits level on the strap and
the body is secured in place (39).
To remove the bassinet simply reverse
this procedure, lowering the bassinet
bar and removing the bassinet.
T>CARRYING
Your MATRIX bassinet has been designed
to be easily removed and carried. Test that
the hood is fully extended and locked into
position by pulling it forward as far as it will
go.
To carry the bassinet, grab the padded hood
bar at the top of the hood and away you go!
(40) When the hood is locked in the fully
extended position it has been designed so
that it will not collapse when carried.
WARNING! ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE
HOOD IS SECURELY LOCKED IN THE FULLY
EXTENDED POSITION BEFORE CARRYING
THE BASSINET
