The ALPATEC GLASS 1500 is a 1500W wall-mounted panel heater designed for use in bathrooms or other rooms in your home. It features an adjustable thermostat, a digital LED display, and a range of operating modes to suit your needs.

• Pour l’utilisation en salle de bain, installer l’appareil en volume 2 ou 3 de façon telle que les interrup-

DESCRIPTION DE L’APPAREIL

Ce nouveau radiateur utilise la technologie PLAQUE ALUMINIUM.

Aujourd’hui l’économie d’énergie est très importante pour notre planète, et la fonction ECO est conçue

dans cette perspective. (voir détails en partie « Utilisation »)

INSTALLATION

Cas particulier des salles de bain

Conformément à la norme NFC 15100, l’indice de protection de votre radiateur étant IP 24 et sa classe II, il

peut être installé en salle de bain, volume 2 ou 3, sous réserve que les organes de régulation électrique ne

puissent pas être touchés par une personne utilisant la baignoire ou la douche. Il ne doit pas être raccordé à

une prise de terre.

DISTANCE DE SECURITÉ

• L’appareil est livré avec son support mural (5).

Ne pas utiliser d’autre support.

Respecter les distances minimales d’obstacles (voir Fig1).

• Il est indispensable de fixer votre radiateur sur un mur droit apte à en supporter la charge à l’aide de

vis et chevilles appropriées.

• Enlever les 2 vis de fixation situées sur la partie haute du support mural (voir Etape 1) puis appuyer

sur les encoches pour détacher le support mural (voir Etape 2)

• Fixer le support au mur.

• Présenter l’appareil face au support mural, insérer le support dans les encoches situées en partie basse

au dos de l’appareil et le faire glisser légèrement vers le haut afin de le verrouiller (voir Etape 3). Insérer

ensuite la partie supérieure puis remettre les vis de maintien.

• Pour enlever l’appareil du support, répéter la manipulation précédente au sens inverse.

VOLUME 0

: intérieur de la baignoire ou de la douche.



Aucun appareil de chauffage électrique.

VOLUME 1

: situé au dessus de la baignoire jusqu’à une

hauteur de 2,25m.



: largeur de 60cm après le volume 1 sur une

hauteur de 3m.

CONNEXION ELECTRIQUE

Réaliser le branchement électrique de l’appareil HORS TENSION.

FIL GRIS = NEUTRE

FIL MARRON = PHASE

FIL NOIR = FIL PILOTE

LE FIL NOIR N’EST À RACCORDER QUE SI VOUS UTILISEZ UNE CENTRALE DE PROGRAMMATION.

LE RACCORDEMENT À LA TERRE EST INTERDIT. NE PAS BRANCHER LE FIL PILOTE (NOIR) À LA TERRE.

UTILISATION

Appuyer sur le bouton ON/OFF situé sur le coté de l’appareil. L’écran LED affiche la température

ambiante.

Sélectionner le mode de fonctionnement souhaité :

Position : ARRET

Position : HORS GEL

Position : PROGRAMME (fil pilote)

Position : ECO

Position : CONFORT

Position ARRET : Pour éteindre l’appareil. Il reste sous tension. L’indicateur lumineux (2) s’éteint.

Position HORS GEL : L’appareil fonctionne pour maintenir la température ambiante à 7°C.

Il est conseillé de sélectionner ce mode durant une absente prolongée

Position PROGRAMME : Vous ne pouvez utiliser ce mode que si vous disposez d’une installation câblée fil

pilote. Votre chauffage est alors piloté par votre centrale de programmation. Reportez vous à sa notice pour

plus d’information.

Position CONFORT : Régler la température souhaitée à l’aide du thermostat (voir chapitre Sélection du

Thermostat). Il est conseillé de sélectionner ce mode lorsque la pièce est occupée.

Position ECO : L’appareil abaisse la température du mode confort de 3°C. Ajuster le thermostat à la tem-

pérature souhaitée.

SELECTION DE LA TEMPERATURE

- Faire tourner la commande du thermostat pour choisir la température souhaitée. Le mini correspond à

5°C , le maxi à 35°C.

- Lors de la première utilisation, placer le thermostat sur la position maxi. Lorsque la température

ambiante correspond à la température désirée tourner le thermostat jusqu’à ce que l’appareil s’arrête

(l’indicateur lumineux de fonctionnement (2) s’éteint).

L’appareil régulera alors automatiquement autour de cette température en mode Confort et autour de

cette température -3°C en mode ECO.

- Le témoin lumineux (2) s’allume lorsque l’appareil fonctionne.

AUTO SÉCURITÉ

Cet appareil est équipé d’un système de coupure automatique en cas de surchauffe

ENTRETIEN

- Toujours éteindre l’appareil et attendre son refroidissement complet avant toute opération de nettoyage.

- Nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil et la façade avec un chiffon doux.

- La poussière peut être retirée avec un chiffon doux ou un aspirateur.

- Ne pas immerger l’appareil dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.

INSTALLATION

Bathroom using (France)

According NFC 15-100 standard, your heater has IP 24 protection and class II =

it can be installed in volume 2 or 3 of the bathroom. Make sure that any person using bath or shower can-

not touch control panel of the heater. It must not be connected to the earth.

SECURITY DISTANCE

• Wall mounted support is supplied with the appliance (5).

Do not use another support. Take care of the dimensions

around the heater. (see FIG 1).

• Fix the heater on a straight wall able to support its weight using appopiate screws and screws plug.

• First remove the wall bracket from the rear housing. Remove the 2 screws on the top of the support

(See Step1). Then pull out the top bar by pressing firmly both upper parts slotted into the rear housing

(see STEP 2)

• Slide down the support in order to remove it from the rear housing. (See STEP 3)

• Fix the support securely to the wall.

• Present the heater and engage 2 slots of the bottom parts of the support in the wall heater’s rear

enclosure then pull up the heater. Then engage 2 slots of the upper parts of the support and tighten

the 2 screws in order to lock the device.

: Inside bath or shower

VOLUME 1

: on the top of volume 0, until 2,25m high

VOLUME 2

: 60 cm around volume 1 - high 3m

VOLUME 3

: 2,40 m around volume 2, high 2,25 m.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Please make sure there is no electrical power when making electrical connection

GREY wire = NEUTRAL

BROWN wire = PHASE

BLACK wire = PILOT WIRE

CONNECT BLACK CABLE ONLY IF YOU USE A CONTROL BOX.

EARTH CONNECTION IS FORBIDE. DO NOT CONNECT THE BLACK PILOT WIRE TO THE EARTH

USING

Press ON/OFF button situated on the side of the appliance. LED displays ambient room temperature

Choose mode setting desired:

Position : OFF

Position : ANTI-FROZEN

Position : PROGRAMMING (pilot wire)

Position : ECO

Position : COMFORT

OFF Mode: Set this mode to switch off the appliance. Light indicator (2) lights off

ANTI-FROZEN Mode: The appliance will operate to keep room temperature at 7°C

This mode shall be used when the room is not occupied for a long time (several days).

PROGRAMMING Mode: Select this mode when appliance is connected to a control box. The appliance will

be operated according to the control box. See relative instruction manual.

COMFORT Mode: Select desired temperature using the adjustable thermostat (See chapter Temperature

setting).It is recommended to set comfort mode when the room is occupied.

ECO Mode: The appliance will decrease comfort temperature by 3°C.

TEMPERATURE SETTING :

- Set the thermostat to choose desired temperature (Minimum setting is around 5°C and Maximum

setting is around 35°C).

- Set the thermostat to maximum position. When the room is at the required temperature, carefully turn

the thermostat anticlockwise until the heater switches off (power light indicator (2) lights off).

The appliance will now regulate automatically to keep the room at the desired temperature on COM-

FORT mode and -3°C on ECO mode.

- The operating light indicator (2) lights on when the appliance is in use.

AUTOMATIC CUT-OFF

This appliance is equipped with an automatic cut-off device in case of overheating.

CLEANING

- Switch off the appliance and wait for it cool down.

- Clean the body and the mirror part with a soft, dry cloth.

- The dust may be removed with a soft cloth or a vacuum cleaner.

- Never immerse appliance in water.
