CX-Designer Library Updates Installation Directions

TherearetwotypesofCX‐DesignerLibraryUpdates:BitmapLibraryUpdates,andLibraryTemplates

Update.TheBitmapLibraryUpdatesareincludedwithCX‐OneAutoUpdate,andhavebeenincludedin

thisfileforthosewhoonlywishtoupdatetheirgraphiclibraryandnotoverallsoftwarefunctionalityor

versionnumber.TheLibraryTemplatesUpdatefilesarenotincludedintheCX‐OneAutoUpdate,and

canonlybeinstalledusingtheincludedfiles.Bothprovideupdatedgraphicalitemsforquicker

implementationofattractiveuserscreens.However,installationisoptionalandwillnotaffect

performanceoroperationoftheNS‐SeriesOperatorInterfacePanel.

1) CloseallinstancesofCX‐Designer

2) BrowsetothedownloadedfilesinthedirectoryCX‐Designer_Lib_Update(wherethese

installationdirectionswerefound)



3) ExtractthefileBMP_Lib_Updates.zipdirectlyintothedirectoryC:\ProgramFiles\OMRON\CX‐

One\CX‐Designer\intaparts\BMPfiles



4) TheBitmapLibraryUpdateiscomplete,andthenewCX‐DesignerBitmapLibraryitemscanbe

foundwhencreatinganewFunctionalObjectandselectingtheColor/Shape



1) CloseallinstancesofCX‐Designer

2) BrowsetothedownloadedfilesinthedirectoryCX‐Designer_Lib_Update(wherethese
