IV. Powering on/off
There is a power switch located on the side(#1 on the diagram) of
the speaker. Push the switch to turn it on & off.
V. Connecting the speaker
Wireless/Bluetooth
This speaker can connect wirelessly to devices that have Bluetooth.
Use the following steps:
1. Press the power switch for 6 seconds
2. The light on the front will be flashing white and red light
alternately, indicating that the speaker is in pairing mode
3. Go to your device’s Bluetooth connection screen and choose
“Inateck BTSP-20”
4. If you are asked for a password,type 0000
5. The blue light will stop flashing and your speaker will be
connected
6. When the speaker is paired and connected with PC, please
select it as the default playback device in the Windows Sound
settings.
*The method of connecting Bluetooth may vary with your device.
Please refer to your device’s manual or manufacturer if the above
steps do not work.
Wired
There is a 3.5mm port on the side (#5 on the diagram) of the
speaker which can be used to connect to another device by using
the included 3.5mm cable. If your device uses a port other than
3.5mm, then you will need an adaper cable.

VI. Features
Volume control
The buttons on this speaker can control the volume. Control volume
via the paired devices, such as iPhone, iPad, Mobile phones,
PC/Mac…etc.

This speaker can function as a speakerphone for your mobile phone
(Only while connected in Bluetooth mode).
- Short press “Hand-free” to answer phone call.
- Short press again to end a call.
Water-Resistant
This speaker is compliant with IPX5 waterproof standard “splash
proof in all directions”. Neither put BTSP-20 under jet-water nor sink
into water.
VII. Battery
Charging
Connect the 5V micro USB power port on the speaker to the USB
port of a power source such as a laptop or a USB wall adapter. A
micro USB cable is included for this use.
There is a light on top of the power switch that will indicate the
following charging statuses:
- Charging: Red LED turns ON
- Fully charged: LED turns OFF
- Low power (<21%): Red LED twinkles

VIII. Warning/Caution
Btspeaker should be charged with phone USB chargers and
computer USB port only! Chargers for other devices such as tablets
should not be used. USB chargers that provide more than 1A while
chargers (ipad charger etc.) could severely damage Btspeaker’s
battery and potentially cause malfunctions.
