1. Place the scale on a ﬂat and

solid surface.

2. Cut the ties under the weighing

platform to remove the protective

cardboard.

3. Unscrew the screws located at the

outermost holes on the weighing

platform of the scale.

Set screws and nuts aside.

4. Place the cross bowl holder

on the scale.

Insert the screws and tighten them

with the nuts.

Note: It is very important to align

the holes of the cross bowl holder

with those on the weighing platform

of the balance.

5. Place the bowl on the cross

bowl holder.

Calibrate the scale by turning

the adjustment knob on top

of the scale until the needle

indicates "5 kg / 0 lb".

1. Always use the scale on a hard ﬂat surface.

2. Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth.

3. Avoid contact with water. DO NOT immerse the scale in water.

4. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fat,

spices, vinegar and strongly ﬂavored/colored food. Avoid contact with

acid citrus juices.

5. DO NOT use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.

6. Not for commercial use.
