USING THE
SCREEN PROTECTOR
Installing the Screen Protector
1. Remove the mask film from the screen protector.
Place a piece of adhesive tape on one corner of the
film and quickly pull back.
2. Install the masked side facing the printer’s touch
screen display. The unmasked side is the writing
surface.
3. Clean both sides of the screen protector and the
printer display with a soft cloth moistened slightly
with distilled water and allow to dry. Do not use
household cleaners to clean the printer.
Warning: Failure to clean the display and screen
protector may scratch or damage your
printer display.
4. Slide the edge of the screen
protector between the printer and
the display.
5. Bow the screen protector slightly
and slide the other edge of the
screen protector between the
printer and display on the opposite
side.
6. Use your thumbs to gently guide the
screen protector into place at the
bottom of the printer display until it
covers the display and lays flat.
Note: Be careful not to bend or
crease the screen protector.
Removing the Screen Protector
1. Use a piece of adhesive tape to grab one corner of
the screen protector.
2. Pull back to remove the screen protector from the
printer display.
If you see dust or lint on your touch screen display,
remove the screen protector, clean it and the display
with a soft cloth moistened slightly with distilled water
and allow to dry before reinstalling. Do not use
household cleaners to clean the printer.
“Oil spots” may appear if the screen protector is
installed wrong side up. Remove the screen protector,
turn it over, and reinstall.
