Beforeusingyournewphone,youmustinstallandchargethebattery.
Note:Yourphone’sbatteryshouldhaveenoughchargetoturnthephoneonandfindasignal,
completethesetupwizard,setupvoicemail,andmakeacall.Youshouldfullychargethebatteryas
soonaspossible.
Install the Battery
1. Usingtheslotprovided,gentlyliftthecoveroffthephone.
2. Insertthebattery,aligningthegoldcontactsonthebatterywiththegoldcontactsonthephone,
andgentlypressthebatteryintoplace.

3. Replacethebatterycompartmentcover,makingsureallthetabsaresecureandthereareno
gapsaroundthecover.
Important:Beforeclosingthecover,checktoseeifthereisanyforeignsubstancesuchasdustor
sandbetweentherubberonthebackofthecoverandthesealingarea.
Note:Water-resistantanddustproofbasedonIP67rating,whichtestssubmersionupto1meter
forupto30minutes.Notshockproof.Coversmustbetightlyclosed.
Maintaining Water and Dust Resistance
ThisdeviceisratedIP67usingtheIngressProtectionratingsystem.Thedustratingis6(highest
levelofprotection)andthewaterresistanceratingis7(waterresistantupto1meterforupto30
minutes).Despitethisclassification,yourdeviceisnotimpervioustowaterdamageinanysituation.
Itisimportantthatallcompartmentsareclosedtightly.
Followthesetipscarefullytopreventdamagetothedevice.
n Wheneveryourdevicegetswet,dryitthoroughlywithaclean,softcloth.
n Donotexposethedevicetosaltwaterorionizedwater,ortowaterover1meterdeepformore
than30minutes.Ifyourdeviceisexposedtosaltwater,washthedevicewithfreshwaterthen
drythoroughlywithaclean,softcloth.Otherwise,whenitdries,saltmayaccumulateandblock
themicrophone,earpiece,andspeaker.
n Whendryingoffyourdevice,besuretopattheearpiece(topfrontofphone),microphone(bottom
ofphone),andspeaker(rearofphone)withaclean,softclothtoremoveasmuchwateras
possible.
n Whenmakingacallimmediatelyafteryourdeviceiswet,themicrophonemayhavewaterinit
whichmaylowerthevolumethattheotherpersonwillhear.Afterdryingoffthedevice,allowthe
devicetoair-drybeforemakingacall.

Charge the Battery
1. Onthebottomofthephone,gentlyliftthemultipurposejackcovertorevealtheUSB
Charger/AccessoryPort.
2. PlugtheUSBcableintotheCharger/AccessoryPortonthebottomofthephone.
3. PlugtheotherendoftheUSBcableintotheChargingHead,andthenplugtheChargingHead
intoanelectricaloutlettochargeyourbattery.Fullychargingabatterymaytakeuptothree
hours.
Note:YourphonesupportsUSB3.0andUSB2.0,andincludesaUSB3.0cableforhigherdata

3. Whenprompted,entertheserialnumber(MEID)printedonthestickerlocatedonthebackofyour
phoneinthebatterycompartment.Thisnumbercanalsobefoundonthebottompanelofthe
phone’spackage.
4. Followtheremaininginstructionstochooseyourplanandselectapaymentmethod.
5. Followtheactivationinstructionsbelowandyou’llbeabletostartusingyourphone.
