Note:
1/4"-20 x 1/2" washer-head mounting screws
for
Cylinder Support, Tray, and Handle are
in-
cluded with the power source.
To assemble the kit to the power source, proceed as
follows (see Fig. 1):
1. Carefully lift the power source off the floor with a
crane or hoist and remove the wooden skids from
the base.
2. Assemble the two swivel casters (950396) to the
base front corners of the power source using eight
(8) 1/4"-20 x 1/2" mounting screws supplied with
the power source.
3. Remove 4 screws from the sides of the base of
the 251cv power source using a 3/8" wrench. Re-
tain these screws for step 4.
4. Slide the cylinder tray (36797GY or 36876GY) in
the power source base. Position the tray until its
threaded holes are aligned with the rearmost holes
of the power source's base. Then secure the tray
in place using the 4 screws from step 3.
NOTE: Steps 5 and 6 apply to TR-24 kit only.
5. Slide the axle through the cylinder tray.
6. On each end of the axle, assemble one 3/4"
washer, an 8" wheel (13730912), another 3/4"
washer, and then insert cotter pin into the hole of
axle in that order. Bend cotter pin to secure in
place.
7. Make sure all mounting screws are firmly tightened
and then lower the power source to the floor.
8. Assemble the cylinder support (37381GY or
37379GY) to the rear end of the side panels using
four (4) mounting screws supplied with the power
source. Firmly tighten all screws.
9. Slide at least the second link of each chain
(951574) into the center slot of the cylinder sup-
port.
10. Mount the handle support (37380GY) to the side
panel of the power source using the screws sup-
plied with the power source. Make sure the screws
are firmly tightened.
11. Mount the handle shaft using the 5/16"-18 screws,
flat washers, and lock washer.
12. When you put the cylinders in place, pull the chain
tightly around each cylinder and slide a chain link
into the outer slot of the cylinder support. Be sure
to pull the link down firmly into each slot to secure
the chain so that there is little slack of the chain
about the cylinder. DO NOT just "loop" a link over
the end of the support.
Never lift a power source with cylinder(s) attached.
