Before Using Camera:
Please read the following guidelines before using CAMERA.
Instructions: Please refer to instructions for proper camera operation. Incorrect use may cause
damage to internal components.
Damage: Avoid dropping the CAMERA, it may damage the internal components.
Dismantle: Do not alter or dismantle the CAMERA, to avoid damage to the CAMERA.
WARM Camera: It is NORMAL for the CAMERA to get warm when in use for a long time.
Lens: Do not touch the lens when recording which will affect the video quality.
Micro SD: Please use Micro SDHC/XC "Class10" and above memory card. (beware of
cheap/counterfeit cards)
Freezing up: To avoid the camera from freezing up during operation, wait until each screen is
fully loaded before pressing buttons.
Format Card: Be sure you use either a new card or freshly formatted card in your camera.
Using a card from another camera may cause the camera to freeze. In that case you may
need to remove the battery to reset.
CAMERA Overview:
Inversion Mode
To use the camera upside-down, you can set "inversion mode" in the menu to On,
then rotate the camera 180 degrees, Note: characters and images on the screen will
not be rotated.
Wi-Fi Function
The Wi-Fi function allows you to operate the Camera at a distance up to 30 meters (100
FT) using a compatible Smartphone via the Wi-Fi connection
High Speed Recording
The CAMERA has 1080P 60fps, 720P 120fps, 720P 60fps, VGA 120fps, VGA 240fps.
Slow Motion
The video can be displayed in half speed (60fps video) or 1/4 speed (120fps video).
Time Lapse
The camera will take pictures at a certain rate then make a video using the recorded
images.
Capture Mode
While recording video, press the Mode button to take a picture. It not only can be used to
manually capture, but also can be set automatically.

Button functions
Power button
- Briefly press to turn the Camera on/off
- In standby mode briefly press to start/stop recording;
- In Picture mode briefly press to take a picture;
- In playback mode briefly press to start/pause playback;
- Confirm menu setting and time setting.
Up button
- In standby mode to zoom in;
- Press and Hold to enter/exit the menu;
- In the Menu setting or Playback mode choose the last option or file;
- Increase the digit in the time setting.
Down button
- Zoom out in standby mode;
- Choose the next option or file in the Menu setting or Playback mode;
- Decrease the digit in the time setting
Mode button:
- Briefly press to switch into Video/Picture/Playback Mode
- Press and hold to enter Wi-Fi setting;
- During recording briefly press to capture a photo;
- In time setting use to switch Year/Month/Date/Time;
- Start/stop Photo capture if set to Automatic Capture.
CAMERA Operation
Power on/off:
Power onBriefly press the Power button, screen shows start up picture, the blue working
indicators will light up, CAMERA enters standby mode.
Power off: When camera is on, Press and hold the Power button, screen shows the
shutdown picture, the blue working indicators turn off, CAMERA powers off.
Charging the Battery:
Connect CAMERA to the supplied charger via USB cable, the red light will light up. Once
the battery is fully charged, the red light will go off. To charge faster, turn the Camera off while
charging.
Video mode:
Video interface:
1. Record icon 2. Exposure Compensation 3. White Balance 4. Frame rate 5. Video resolution 6.

Normal recording
Turn Off "seamless" (looping) in the video mode menu, Press Power button, CAMERA starts
recording till card is full or battery charge is exhausted. Press Power button again to stop
recording.
Video Looping (refer to menu setting “seamless”)
In standby mode, press the Power button to start recording, the blue indicator will flash.
When the video has recorded up to the time you set (1 minute/3 minutes/5minutes),
CAMERA will save the footage automatically and continue recording.
When card is full, CAMERA will overwrite the first footage by time sequence and continue
recording. Press Power button again to stop recording, the remaining recording time is on
the LCD screen.
Note:
Under 4k resolution mode, you must set menu “seamless” off.
4k resolution doesn’t support Wi-Fi, zoom or time lapse functions.
Please set “capture timing” to off if you need to set “seamless/time lapse” in the menu.

CAMERA default setting is Video mode.
While in standby mode, press Mode button to enter Photo mode, Frame your picture and
briefly press the Power button, CAMERA will save the picture automatically.
Capture function:
Capture manually: Press the mode button to take a picture while recording when “Capture
timing” in system menu is off.
Capture automatically: When “Capture timing” in system menu is set “5s/10s/15s/30s/60s”,
the Camera will capture and save automatically save a Photo under normal recording .Press
mode button to start and stop capture.
Note:
4k resolution doesn’t support capture function.
Camera capture function is disabled when “time lapse” and “slow motion” is on.
Please set “capture timing” off if you need to set “seamless/time lapse/slow motion” in
the menu.
Playback Mode:
1. Playback icon 2. File number / total number of files
3. Select the file you want to play
4. File Preview 5. File length 6. Date 7.Time
In standby mode, press the Mode button to switch to Playback mode, press UP/Down
button to select the video / picture you need, press the power button to Preview / playback.
Press the Power button to stop playing.
To Enter Menu Settings:
In standby mode, Press and hold the Up button to enter the menu mode, then press the
Mode button again to switch the mode menu and System menu. Press the Down button to
scroll down, press the Up button to scroll up, press the Power button to confirm. Press and
hold the Up button to exit the menu.
Video mode - Picture mode - Playback mode each have two menus: Mode menu and
System menu. Note: If the camera is in Video Mode when you press the Menu Button
you will enter the Video Menu, Likewise if the Camera is in Photo Mode you will enter
the Photo Menu

Remote Control Description
There are two buttons on the remote controller, press the video button to start/stop video
recording. Press the picture button to take pictures under picture mode or capture under video
mode.
Pairing the remote control:
Set "Remote Pair" in the menu to On, press and hold the two buttons on the remote control, you
will see the blue light of Remote control flashing, release the two buttons after 3 seconds. Press
the power button to exit the Remote Pairing and return to preview mode, take video or pictures
via the remote control. If operation is successful continue, if not, please repeat above steps.
Please keep the camera and remote control within 1M (3 Feet) when matching.
Installing and Using Wi-Fi:
Scan the QR code to get the APP;
Install the APP on your smart phone
Turn Camera ON, Then press and Hold the Wi-Fi button until the Wi-Fi light flashes.
From your Phone settings go to Wi-Fi and select “Customer: Set the Wi-Fi password in the Menu. (The default
password it 1234567890).
When connected to the camera, the camera screen will display “customer”, the WiFi indicator will light. If the
connection does not succeed, the WiFi indicator will keep flashing.
Launch the APP on your smart phone, then you can control the camera via the smart phone.
Briefly Press the Power/Mode Button again to exit the Wi-Fi setting.
Notes:
Before you use the Wi-Fi function, please insert Micro SD card into camera, Otherwise Wi-Fi will not work..
The effective distance is influenced by environment. Changing conditions will greatly affect to distance that the app can be
used.
The “Power Saving Mode” in mobile should be set to “Off”.
“Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep” on your mobile device should be set to “Always”.

Connecting HDMI:
Connect the CAMERA to TV via HDMI cable, all functions can be displayed in high definition
on the TV screen.
Connect via USB (connecting to Drones for example)
Connect the CAMERA to Video Source via USB cable as shown, set menu “TV mode” to Yes,
press Power button to confirm, then all operations can be displayed in TV screen/monitor.

Connecting to your PC
Connect camera to PC and power on your camera, the screen will display: “MSDC”, “PCCAM”, “Working”.
Press Up button or Down button to choose the option, press Power/Select button to confirm.
MSDC: To access the Micro SD card to check and download files.
PCCAM: To use the Camera as a PCCAM. (software required on your PC)
Working: Camera can be used Normally while powered and charging by the PC.
Tips on Mounting Your Camera:
Included with your camera are the basic mounting attachments. With these accessories you can mount
your camera in several ways:
Helmet Mount Board or Flat Mount Handlebar or Similar Mount
Also please note that under certain conditions it will be necessary to take extra precautions when
mounting.
For example with all water activities please use one of the floats available and always use the surfboard
kit on a surfboard. For fast moving, bouncing and jolting activities please be sure to tether the camera
and or use straps as the mounts can break under such conditions
Finally be sure to test the waterproof housing prior to any underwater activity. Check the seal and buttons
carefully as debris and small objects can cause leakage.
