FULL FLEXIBILITY FOR INDOOR USE
Visionary-T CX
The Visionary-T CX is a 3D streaming camera. It is suitable
for users who want to develop their own applications for their
specic requirements. The camera offers full exibility in terms
of the provided distance, intensity, and condence values on
an external evaluation unit (a PC, for example). Various pro-
gramming and software interfaces including GenICam (Halcon),
Point Cloud Library (PCL), and Java enable communication
to be established quickly. C ++ and C # examples, along with
detailed telegram listing make communicating with the device
even easier.
Visionary-T AG
The smart Visionary-T AG streams either the complete 3D data,
as the Visionary-T CX does, or reduced data which has already
been preprocessed to meet specic application needs. One
feature, for example, allows the user to effectively represent
3D information in 2D. The camera does this by projecting data
from more than 25,000 distance points onto a curve which is
represented by just a small number of points (polar data reduc-
tion). Another way to reduce the data is to choose a specic
measurement volume and output the data in suitable Cartesian
coordinates. In addition, a variety of lter options improve the
performance of the Visionary-T AG still further. The reduced data
makes it possible to connect the device directly to a program-
mable logic controller (PLC). The function blocks for standard
PLCs are supplied with the sensor. All of these properties enable
the Visionary-T AG to be used in a wide range of applications
including intralogistics, robotics, or quality control.

Visionary-T AP
The Visionary-T AP is a 3D vision camera which allows internal
access to measurement data. It is essentially suited for two
types of application: On the one hand, as a hardware platform
for playing and executing ready-to-use Key Apps which solve
a special application directly on the device. The Key Apps are
separately available as independent software products and can
be transmitted to the camera with SICK AppManager. On the
other hand, the SICK AppSpace eco-system gives customers
the option of developing user-dened apps for their special
requirements with script language LUA and extended functions
and using them with the camera. In doing so, SICK AppStudio
enables exible access to distance, intensity and condence
values as part of SICK AppSpace.
The 3D vision camera not only delivers high-quality data for
a wide range of industrial applications, but also processes
them directly in the device. Corresponding actions can initiated
based on this - without any support from a PC. Visionary-T AP
can be used around the clock and, besides a IP67 enclosure
rating and a programmable software interface, offers high-
performance features. Both the hardware and the software
have been designed specically for use in indoor environments.
