1. Carefully read this manual.
2. Keep this manual well.
3. Consider all warnings.
4. Follow all instructions.
5. ATTENTION: to avoid fires and electric shocks, this system may not be exposed to rain and humidity. Do not use
this device close to waters.
6. Clean it only with a dry cloth.
7. Do not cover any air vents.
8. Do not place it close to heat sources like radiators, hot air dampers, ovens or other devices (including amplifiers),
which emit warmth.
9. Do not override the safety function of the inverse-polarity protection or the safety plug. A plug with inverse-polarity
protection has two pins, one of them is wider than the other (only for USA/Canada). A safety plug has two pins and
one ground pole. If the included plug does not fit into your socket, the socket is obsolete and has to be replaced by
an electrician.

for plugs, sockets and the place where the cable comes out of the device.
11. Only use products and accessories specified by Phoenix Professional Audio GmbH.
12. Let maintenance operations only be carried out by qualified maintenance staff. The device has always to be
maintained if it has been damaged in any way, f.i. when the power cable or the mains plug is damaged, if liquids has
been spilt onto the device or objects has been fallen into it, if the device has been exposed to rain or humidity, if it
does not operate normally or it has been fallen down.
The exclamation mark in a triangle shall advise the user of the existence of important
operation- and maintenance instructions in this manual.
The symbol consisting of a flash with an arrowhead in a triangle shall advise the user
of the existence of non-insulated, dangerous voltages within the housing, which can
be strong enough to give an electric shock.

Procession system ZP-40 SLIM
Made in Europe
GENERAL
The newly developed mobile sound system (procession system) ZP-40 SLIM is a state-of-the-art sound
system which absolutely convinces the user by its powerful speech- and music transmission resp. the in-
ternal, electronic and mechanic design.
Usable also as stationary sound system in your church.
The procession system has two separate power channels (2 x 20 W sine) based upon the digital T-CLASS
amplifiers which drive each two powerful, microlight Neodynium 3.3“ speaker chassis.
Besides this, the ZP-40 SLIM procession system has up to two (version ZP-40 SLIM/2) free of charge UHF
receiver, two hand wireless microphones (sender) in the range 863 MHz to 865 MHz frequencies.
The standard built in SD-CARD/USB player (player for USB-STICKS/PEN DRIVE and SD storage cards) will
always support you with the processions or as a stationary sound system in your church as background
music source.
A big advantage of the ZP-40 SLIM system is the very simple and user-friendly operation. All connections
are placed ergonomically shaped, very clear and well comprehensible.
The system ZP-40 SLIM is equipped with powerful and very light-weight nickel-metal hydrid accumulator
(NiMH).
The nickel-metal hydrid accumulators (NiMH) distinguish themselves by high energy density, they are heat-
resisting and are no subject to memory effect.
The Coulomb efficiency is typically approximately 100 %, that means almost the complete electric current
loaded in the accumulator can also be taken from it again.
Reaching the target service life of typically 500 load cycles (this corresponds to ten years with weekly load)
is provided by the intelligent, internal, controlled loading system with deep discharge protection. The ope-
rating time with full accumulator is approx. 6 hours.

HORIZONTAL JUSTIFICATION OF THE SPEAKERS
The upper speaker segment in the procession system ZP-40
SLIM is pivotable in the horizontal level and is used to arrange
the sound reflection of the speakers optimally to the wanted ran-
ge where the sound shall be transmitted.
The upper segment can be rotated up to 180 degrees conti-
nuously and provides the best speaker justification for a FRONT/
REAR sound of the procession or as „wide dispersion angle“
resp. adjustable dispersion angle for frontal amplification.
