CAME BRAHMS is a multi-channel transmitter for automatic opening of shutters and awnings. It features 3 + 1 front buttons and 3 back, inside buttons. The fourth front button is located under the display and its function is to select channels (up to a maximum of 8 channels).1 CHANNEL= 1 motor or group of motors. With CAME BRAHMS you can:

  • Adjust the display contrast for best viewing results.
  • Set the date and hour.
  • Determine the dawn and dusk times by setting the city (see tab. A "City List") or the coordinates with time zones.
  • Set a dusk level to which you can link the timer events in three values:“0°” corresponds to the sun on the horizon, “1” middle value (-3°) and “2” civil dusk (-6°).

INSTALLATION MANUAL
• Any installation and use other than that specified in this manual is forbidden.
• When conditions are such to not ensure safe functioning of the command device, turn it off and make sure it is
not engaged inadvertently.
• The device is fitted with two batteries.End users are obliged by law to dispose of run down batteries in specific
collection containers.IT IS severely prohibited to dispose of the batteries along with household waste.

You canprogramme the following commands:

You can memorise up to 128 events (i.e. commands) at a certain time in certain days of the week.There cannot be
two events at the same time for the same channel.Each event can be programmed in Random mode to simulate
human presence when absent.

The clock in the display is default factory-programmed.You can still, however, set the date and hour by following
the procedure shown on p. 7, (CLOk paragraph)). An automatic dater is coupled with the clock.The Multitimer
lets you automatically determine the dawn and dusk times, after setting the city (see tab. A "City List") or the
coordinates with time zones;if the city is not present in the list provided (see p. 6 SUN PARAMETERSsUNP). You
can also set a dusk level to which you can link the timer events in three values:“0°” corresponds to the sun on the
horizon, “1” middle value (-3°) and “2” civil dusk (-6°). (tab. )
You can adjust the display contrast for best viewing results ([ntrp. 5) and check the integrity of all display
segments (LCDt p. 5).
Adjusting the display
The events can be:
- Added(Add);
– Edited;
- Cancelled;
- Copied from one channel to the other;
– Classified:
as programmed (EDIT);
as already happened, that is, listed depending on the time in which they were executed (LIST).

Mode of operation
You can permanently disengage (OFF), or suspend(PAUSE)the programmed commands for time frame that is
defined by the user (during house cleaning or maintenance).
The Multitimer uses two

batteries: "1" to display and "2" for the transmitter.When in place of the time
"Batt" is displayed, this block all unsafe operations.Replacing battery "1" means losing the hour, whereas battery
"2" does not involve any loss of programmed data. To replace the battery follow the illustrated directions:

Automatic retransmission
The command so programmed, can be retransmitted automatically for a programmable number from 1 to 5, to
ensure greater reception, in very disturbed surroundings.Warning: this mode draws on the battery charge.(Tr n p.5).
Memorisation
a) Memorise the BRAHMS when installing the motor-
The BRAHMS should be memorised in each motor to command.
To proceed with memorisation, power up the motor and memorise the
BRAHMS with the span of one minute.
Warning: if other motors are present and not memorised, these must be
turned off.
Select the channel on which you wish to memorise the motor / group of
motors;
Press the 3 P BRAHMS button three times.
> To confirm memorisation is complete the motor will emit two click-clacking
sounds.

2nd CASE As an additional transmitter
Press once the 3 P button of the existing transmitter;
> the motor will emit a click-clacking sound. At this point, within
the span of a minute, you can proceed with memorising the
BRAHMS.
• Select the channel on which you wish to memorise the motor /
group of motors;
• Press the UP () button once
> The motor will emit two click-clacks to confirm.

Programming
By pressing fro two seconds the SEL. button, you can access the programming mode;to exit press SEL. againBy
simultaneously pressing for two seconds UP and DW you can see the BRAHMS's release date and version (rele-
ase: rEL1 and index:IndE 2).

): Multitimer operation mode, with UP
and DW
you can choose between:
– Pause (PAUSE): the commnands that involve movement are suspended.When pause has elapsed only the
last automatic command will be sent.The PAUSE mode does not exclude the motor's manual command;
– Auto (AUTO): is the standard working mode;
Off (OFF): All automatic
commands are disengaged.
Functions menu
– System (SYSt):Generic operating parameters:
- Contrast ([ntr): [0..7] Display adjusting;
– Reset (rESE): All default settings are restored;requests
confirmation before proceeding:(at paragraph);
Cancell ((LEA):All commands in the memory are
cacelledrequests confirmation before proceeding:
(from list);
– LCD test (Lcdt):Diplay operation test;
- Retransmit command tr n): [1...5] Number of times in
whihc the programmed commands are transmitted
Random (rnd): [0..120] to set the minutes to delay a
programmed command.
If greater than zero the RND wording will light up;
- Pause time (PAUS): [2..180] in minutes;
- Channels (Ch N): [1..8] sets the number of channels used.
If during programming no button is pressed for two minutes, the menu or setting underway will be abandoned
and the current programming operation will not be stored.
PARAMETERS (PArA): system parameters and settings divided into:Syst(System) and Sunp(Sun Parameters).

PARAMETERS SUN (SunP):geographic settings, time zone and level of light;these items are automatically
adjusted by selecting a city in "City".In this submenu you can check the set values or edit them for those
locations that are not included in the list:

programmed commands at relative times:0 is
for the sun on the horizon, 1 is an intermediate
value (-3°) and 2 is the daylight savings time
(-6°) (Tab. );
- DAYLIGHT SAVINGS (dSt):Allows three settings:
AUTO:it automatically goes into daylight savings
mode, according to the previous settings
and the Greenwich meridian.In non European
nations this functioning mode is automatically
disengaged by selecting the city;
OFF:Daylight savings disengaged;
ON: Daylight savings engaged (+1);
- TIME ZONE (Utc): PluS (more) / Min (less) - 0...12.(hr).

With ENT you can access the memorised event/command.If the list is empty the following text appears

PT). The turning on of the sun symbol on the horizon means that the displayed event is programmed at a
relative time (see Sun Parameters).
EDIT (

SET THE EVENT TIME:in the [0...23] range means an absolute time.After 23:59 you can define the relative times
which are linked to the customised dawn / dusk.The events can be programmed up to 1 hr and 59 min before
( minus - sign) or after dawn / dusk shown by the relative icon on the display;
- Set the minutes [0...59]
- Set the command, appearing on the left side of the display;
√ Arrow on:up command;

√ Opposing arrows:go to mid point;

- Set the days in which you want a certain command to be engaged, selecting the day with the arrows (UP and
DW), and selecting [yE/no] with ENT;The days in which the command is engaged stay lit;With the arrows go
beyond Saturday (SA) to conclude the operation (End), and press ENT.
Warning: it is not possible to memorise an event unless at least one day is selected.If you conclude the
operation (End) without having selected any day, all of the days will be selected by default.
You can select all of the day in a single operation, by immediately pressing DW in the submenu;
Press "ENT" to confirm memorisation, ESC (at any point of the procedure) to avoid editing or cancelling the
operation;
CANCELLING ([lea) an event:all fields flash.Press ENT To confirm cancellation, ESC to cancel the operation.

CAME BRAHMS is a multi-channel transmitter for automatic opening of shutters and awnings. It features 3 + 1 front buttons and 3 back, inside buttons. The fourth front button is located under the display and its function is to select channels (up to a maximum of 8 channels).1 CHANNEL= 1 motor or group of motors. With CAME BRAHMS you can:

  • Adjust the display contrast for best viewing results.
  • Set the date and hour.
  • Determine the dawn and dusk times by setting the city (see tab. A "City List") or the coordinates with time zones.
  • Set a dusk level to which you can link the timer events in three values:“0°” corresponds to the sun on the horizon, “1” middle value (-3°) and “2” civil dusk (-6°).
