Centerline or Ecoline Door Type Corner Splash Kit is a device designed to be attached to the left side of your machine to provide additional protection against splashes and spills. It extends the machine profile by an additional 1/4" beyond the handle, providing a barrier to prevent water and other liquids from reaching the machine's interior components. The kit includes a variety of components, including a corner machine shield, mounting guard bracket, pan catch brackets, screws, nuts, and foam tape.

These instructions are only intended for use by properly trained and qualified service technicians.
If you do not have technical training for this product, you should read the following procedure, in its entirety, to
determine if you have the necessary tools, instruments and skills required to perform the procedure. Procedures for
which you do not have the necessary tools, instruments and skills should be performed by a trained Hobart Service
technician.
The reproduction, transfer, sale or other use of this manual, without the express written consent of Hobart Service,
is prohibited.
NOTE: Only attaches to left side of machine. Adding this splash baffle, will extend machine profile an additional
1/4" beyond handle.

WARNING
Disconnect the electrical power to the machine and follow lockout / tagout procedures. There
may be multiple circuits. Be sure all circuits are disconnected.
1. Open door.
NOTE: Rack guide location should have been performed during machine installation. Reference section 5.5.5 from
Centerline & Ecoline Door Type Installatin & Operations Manual.
2. Remove rack.
3. Ensure rack guide (A, Fig. 2) is installed on left side of rack.
4. Loosely assemble two pan catch brackets (8, Fig. 1) together using two screws (6, Fig. 1) and nuts (7, Fig. 1).
5. Position the assembled bracket and loosely secure to rack with screws (10, Fig. 1), washers (9,Fig. 1), and nuts
(5, Fig. 1).
NOTE: Sequence is screw - washer - bracket - rack - nut.
6. Square and align brackets to rack and tighten all hardware.

7. Position Guide rack into machine and verify clearances.

8. Install foam tape to inside mating service of splash shield. Trim off any excess tape.

9. Remove two screws from machines outer band where shield will be installed Fig. 6 and clean surface area.
10. Attached mounting guard bracket (3, Fig. 1) to splash panel.
NOTE: If machine does not have preexisting slots, discard steps 10 & 11.
11. Insert mounting guard bracket into slots, located on the side of the machine.

12. Align splash panel and install using the two screws removed earlier.

13. On the CDH model only, to avoid interference with side table and rack, snap off perforated front splash shield
bracket so it is even with Door panel.

14. Verify smooth operation of Door closure.
