Check that the green wire is connected to the back-up light circuit and is

The SV-CLCD56B1 is unique to other Rear Vision Systems in that it
has seperate green and yellow wires for video and audio triggers,
respectively.

Returning the Unit for Service

1) POWER LED
Indicates that the monitor has power. The LED glows red when the monitor
is receiving power, but is not turned on (Stand By Mode). The LED switches o
when the LCD screen is turned on.
2) DAY/NIGHT SENSOR
Senses available light and adjusts monitor volume accordingly.
3) MENU BUTTON
Press to cycle through Color, Contrast, Brightness, Volume, and Language menus.
Use the + and - Buttons to adjust each setting.
4) + BUTTON
Press this button to increase Menu values.
5) - BUTTON
Press this button to decrease Menu values.
The monitor’s Power LED is not on.
Check the fuse located on the red wire.

Check for 12V at the end of the red wire.

Conrm black wire is connected to a good ground on the chassis.3.
If there is voltage on the red wire and the black wire is connected properly, 4.
return the unit for service. See page 10.

6) POWER BUTTON
Press once while in Stand By Mode to turn monitor on. When on, press once to
cycle through C A1, CA2, and AUX inputs. Press and hold to return monitor to
Stand By Mode.
7) NORMAL/MIRROR SWITCH
Press to switch monitor image to display Normal or Reverse (as it would appear
in a rear-view mirror).
8) MONITOR INPUT/POWER CONNECTOR
Supplies both power and image input to the monitor.
9) BRACKET SLOT
Accepts the adjustable monitor mounting bracket.

Operating and Troubleshooting Instructions
When you turn the ignition key to the accessory or on position, power is sup-
plied to the monitor. The system will turn on automatically when the vehicle
is shifted into reverse. Pushing the Power Button will also manually activate
the system, which allows the operator to use the system while driving. The
green LED on the monitor will illuminate at that time.
Conrm the Color, Contrast, and Brightness settings are properly adjusted if pos-
sible. Access these settings by pressing the Menu Button.
Note the power of the monitor:
When you push the power switch to the Stand By Mode position, the monitor
is placed in a Stand By Mode mode. The monitor is not turned o until the igni-
tion key is in the o position.

If the Power LED is NOT on - see procedure on page 8.•
If the Power LED is on - see procedure on pages 8 and 9.•
If no audio is received - see procedure on page 9.•
If the screen is completely white, or the picture comes on and •
goes o within 10 seconds - see instructions for returning unit
for service on page 10.
