1. ENTER JETSORT SETUP MODE. (PRESS THE RED KEY FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS.) GO TO DATA ENTRY
SELECTIONS. SELECT LABELS. TURN THE DESIRED LABEL TO AUTO.
2. GO TO PORT SETUP IN SETUP MODE. SET UP JETSORT PORT 2 TO BCR (BAR CODE READER). THE BAUD AND PARITY
SETTINGS SHOULD BE 4800, 8, NONE.
3. FROM THE SETUP MAIN MENU, SELECT PERIPHERAL FORMAT AND THEN BAR CODE READER TYPE SELECT SCANR
4. SCAN ALL BARCODES BELOW.
5.AFTER THE LAST BARCODE IS SCANNED A CONFIRMATION BEEP WILL BE HEARD AND THE BARCODE READER HAS BEEN
SUCCESSFULLY PROGRAMMED.
6. SCAN SAMPLE BARCODES TO VERIFY
THIS PROCEDURE IS DESIGNED TO ENSURE THE PROPER PROGRAMMING OF CUMMINS ALLISON
