CAUTION: DIRECTLY VIEWING THE SUN OR ANY LIGHT SOURCE

WITH THIS OPTICAL DEVICE CAN CAUSE PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE.

Looking at or near the sun will cause instant and irreversible damage to your eyes. Eye

damage is often painless, so there is no warning to the observer that damage has

occurred until it is too late. Do not look at the sun through the magnifying glass.

Children should always have adult supervision while observing.

Inserting Batteries

1. Slide off the battery compartment lid located under the handle

of the magnifying glass, by gently sliding the cover of the

battery down

2. Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries (not included), as pictured

3. Replace the battery compartment lid by sliding lid back on,

until it snaps shut

Turning the Magnifier On/Off

1. After properly inserting the 2 AA alkaline batteries; slide up the on/off switch

located on the side of the magnifier to turn on the light

2. Slide down the switch to turn off the light

Using the Magnifier

1. Remove both pieces of protective lens film from magnifier lens

2. Grasp the handle of the magnifier, adjust focus by lifting and lowering the

magnifier

Hands Free Stand

1. Lift up on the lens while firmly grasping the handle, exposing the arm of the

magnifier

2. Place magnifier on an even flat surface, pivot the lens up or down to adjust

angle and focus

Care and Cleaning

- To remove any dirt or fingerprints, wipe lens with a soft cloth

- Store in a cool dry place unexposed to moisture

- Always handle magnifier with care, avoid dropping magnifier as they might

get damaged
