Operation

manufacturer’srecommendationsforproperparking
procedures.
•Alwayswearyourseatbeltwhileoperatingamotorvehicle.

•Thisspreaderhasanoperatingsoundlevelbelow70dBA.
•Neverputanypartofyourbodybetweenthespreader

4.Fillthehopperwithsaltusingthefollowingmethods:
•Ifusingbaggedsalt,placethebagonthetopscreen
bagsplitterandworkitbackandforthtosplitthe

bag.Continuetomoveandshakethebaguntilit
isempty.
Note:Use2peopletoliftanybaggedsalt
weighingmorethan18kg(40lb).

Bystandersshouldstayaminimumof7.6m(25ft)
awayfromoperatingspreaders.
1.FliptheON/OFFSWITCHtotheONposition.
Note:Alwayscheckforbystandersbeforestartingthe
spreader.
2.Usethespeeddialtosetyourdesiredspinnerspeed.
Note:Thespinnerspeedwilldeterminehowquickly
thematerialisspreadaswellashowfaritisthrown.
3.Whilespreading,youcanpresstheBLASTswitchto
momentarilyincreasethespeedofthespinnermotor.
4.FliptheON/OFFSWITCHtotheOFFpositionwhen
youarenishedspreadingtostopthespreader.
FreeingaClog
TheredLEDonthespreadercontrollerwillilluminatewhen
debrisgetswedgedinthespreaderandthecontrolleris
overloaded.
