The Company has always paid particular attention to the

natural environment, and therefore has started to produce

and use raw materials with low environmental impact in

its products. It is a must for the Company to respect the

environment where we live, which is why it has become

increasingly important for the Papermill to use reliable tools to

manage the environmental problems over the last few years.

This has led the company obtaining, not only the UNI EN

ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certicate, but also the UNI

EN ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management

Certication for all its production plants.

The FSC Certication for some products testies the

Company attention towards the complete productive chain,

using raw materials (recycled and non-recycled) that safeguard

the world’s forest heritage. This impressive approach has

culminated in a considerable saving in greenhouse gas

emission, in full compliance with the Kyoto Protocol. This

has been possible thanks to the self production of hydro

electric energy and the cogeneration of natural gas.

A QR (Quick Response) code has been added to each product line listed on

this catalogue. This advanced barcode hides information detectable by new

generation mobile phones (smart phones) equipped with special reading

software. The hidden text can be a simple sentence or a web address and in this

late case it immediately redirects to the Fabriano mobile website developed on

purpose to have always our products at your hand.

Created with 100% cotton, this paperboard is indicated for all printmaking techni-

ques (engraving, lithography, silk- screening, xylography and linocuts). It is mould

made, size 56x76 with all edges deckled.

The watermark is xed point and placed below right on the sheet.

It reproduces the CMF trademark surmounted by a star and enclosed in a circle.

In the 70x100 size the two larger sides are deckled and the watermark runs parallel

to them, reproducing the inscription “C. M. FABRIANO 100% COTTON”.

Tiepolo is pH neutral, assuring inalterability over the time.

Made with qualitatively high-level raw material (60% Cotton). Rosaspina is a mould

made paperboard and suitable for all printmaking techniques (etching, lithography

and silk screening).

The watermark runs parallel to the two larger sides of the sheet and reproduces the

Fabriano trademark and logo.

The Fabriano Disegno 5 paper is mould made of a valuable mixture of cotton (50%)

and accurately selected raw material. The absence of acid guarantees the inalterabi-

lity over time of the paper. Ideal for watercolour, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, char-

coal, wax, graphite, felt-tipped pens, drawing and printmaking (etching, lithography

and silk-screening), announcements and invitations.

The watermark reproduces the Fabriano logo and the inscription “50% COTTON”.

Produced with 100% cotton, this handmade laid and watermarked paper has all its

edged deckled and is particularly suitable for deluxe editions, ne printing, bookbin-

ding and drawing.

Roma paper is pH neutral, assuring its inalterability over time and is Totally Chlorine

Free (T.C.F.). The watermark of this paper reproduces, below left, the inscription

C.M. Fabriano, enclosing the image of a wolf suckling two twins within an oval and

the inscription ROMA. The laid lines are parallel to the 48 cm side and the chain lines

to the 66 cm side.

The particular grain of the surface and the highly lightfast colours are the principal

characteristics of this laid paper. It is acid free and particularly recommended for

deluxe editions, advertising (company presentations, posters, calendars, brochures,

leaets and catalogues), fancy paperwork and book binding applications, drawing

(pastel, charcoal) and collage. The grain direction runs parallel to the 100 cm side

and the cross lines are parallel to the 70 cm side.
