Changing the indoor temperature
A waterborne heating system has a certain degree of iner-
tia. This means that it can take several hours from making
a change until the desired temperature in the premises is
reached. The size of the building, how low the outdoor
temperature is, the quantity of hot water used during
the period, etc., all influence the time taken to effect the
change.
E.g.: You change the setting of the clock thermostat at
05:00 from 17°C to 20°C. F205P starts to work to in-
crease the temperature, but it can take several hours for
the heat pump to produce the desired change.
You change the setting again at 08:00, from 20°C to
17°C. The heat pump then begins to circulate cooler
water in the heating system, but it can take several hours
before the water has cooled sufficiently for the room tem-
perature to reach the desired level.
