your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front

cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.

Read all instructions before using this product!

1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.

2. Use eye and ear protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety

goggles when assembling this product. Goggles are available from Harbor

Freight Tools.

3. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing; use common sense. Do not assemble

this product when you are tired.

4. Check for damaged parts. Before using this product, any part that appears

damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate

properly and perform its intended function. Check for loose parts and any

other condition that may affect the operation of this product. Replace loose

or worn parts immediately. Any part that is damaged should be properly

repaired or replaced.

5. Do not allow children to play with this product. Always supervise

children when playing around this product.

Assembly

When unpacking, check to make sure the parts mentioned in this instruction

manual are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor

Freight Tools at the telephone number shown on the bottom of this page.

Unpacking

1. Insert one end of the Small Hanger (2) into the hole in the Copper Cup

(2) (see figure 1).

2. Next put the Small Hanger through the attached hanger of the adjoining

Copper Cup (see figure 1).

3. Finally insert the other end of the Small Hanger (2) into the other hole

of the Copper Cup (3). Thread on the Copper nuts (4) to secure both

ends of the Small Hanger (see figure 2). Repeat this process until all 12

of the Cups are strung together.

This package includes: 12 Copper Cups, 24 copper nuts, 1 Large Hanger

and 12 Small Hangers.

Note: The Copper Cups each come with a hanger pre-attached to it, as

shown in the photo below.

Installation

Gutter

Large Hanger

Warning: Make sure the rain gutter is capable of holding

the weight of the Copper Rain Chain before installation.

Warning: Be very careful when using a ladder. If you are

not comfortable using a ladder to install this product you

should get a qualified installer to do the job.

1. Remove the down pipe from your gutter exposing a

round hole.

2. Insert the Large Hanger through the top Small

Hanger (2) of your Rain Chain (see illustration

above).

3. Next squeeze the ends of the Large Hanger (1)

together and put in up into the round hole in the

rain gutter (see illustration above).

The Copper Rain Chain is designed to be hung from a

rain gutter. You do not need any tools to install it this way.

Your Copper Rain Chain must be assembled first before

it can be installed
