You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly
instructions, operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram.
Keep your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the
front cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future
reference.
Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Keep work area well lit.
3. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that
appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will
perform its intended function. Check for any broken or damaged parts and
any other conditions that may affect its operation. Replace or repair
damaged or worn parts immediately.
4. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
5. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All
connections should be tight and hardware tightened.
6. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do
not let them play with or climb on the Coat Rack; this product could tip over,
resulting in personal injury and/or property damage. Children must be
supervised around the Coat Rack.
7. Dress Properly. Non skid footwear are recommended when assembling
this product. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
8, Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles
when setting up this product.

9. Maintain products with care. After assembly, position the Coat Rack in a
flat, level area away from a fireplace or heating vent. Position coats, hats,
scarfs, umbrellas, etc. evenly. When some articles are removed, re-arrange
articles to distribute the load. Do not exceed the weight capacity of 50 lbs.
10. Use the right product for the job. Do not overload the Coat Rack. There
are certain applications for which this product was designed. Do not modify
this product and do to use this product for a purpose for which it was not
intended.
11. Do not set up the Coat Rack if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or
reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not set up
the Coat Rack.

Unpacking
When unpacking the Coat Rack, check to make sure that all parts are
included as shown in the parts list. If any parts are missing or broken,
please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number below
Assembly
1. Unpack and arrange all the parts of the Coat Rack on a smooth covered
surface to avoid scratches while assembling.
2. Connect the five Top Hooks (A) to the Upper Swivel Post (F) using a phillips-
head screwdriver and the five Screws (H). Tighten hardware.

3. Place one Horizontal Ring (C) on
the inside of the five Top Hooks
(A). Match up the predrilled holes
in the Ring and the holes in the
Hooks. Secure with the five
Screws (H) in each hole. Tighten
hardware.
See Figures 2 & 3.

4. Match up the predrilled holes in
the four Legs (B) to the holes in
the Lower Post (G). Secure using
the Screws (I) in each hole (two
per leg). Tighten hardware.

5. Place one Horizontal Ring (D) on the top
of the four Legs (B). Lay the Coat Rack on
it’s side and match up the predrilled holes
in the Ring and the holes in the Legs.
Secure from underneath the ring with the
four Screws (H) in each hole. Tighten
hardware.

6. Place one Horizontal Ring (D) on the
bottom of the four Legs (B). Match up
the predrilled holes in the Ring and the
holes in the Legs. Secure from
underneath the Ring with the four
Screws (I) in each hole. Tighten
hardware. While on it’s side, tap on the
four Rubber Feet (J) on each Leg (B)
and stand the Coat Rack upright.

Maintenance
1. To remove dust, use a soft cloth and furniture polish.
2. This product should be assembled and stored in a dry area.
7. Locate the hole in the Upper Swivel Post (F) assembly with Hooks (A)
and
place onto the dowel in the Lower Post (G). Apply pressure to secure.

Caution: Do not place too many garments on the Coat Rack; overloading on
one side, or exceeding the maximum recommended weight capacity of
50 lbs. could result in the Coat Rack tipping over.
