ESAB Linde UMA-1 and UMA-2 Flexible Welding Attachments are designed for submerged arc and cored wire manual welding applications. They can be used to make either straight-line or irregularly shaped butt welds, for plug welds, and positioned or non-positioned fillet welds, and are especially useful for work in confined areas. The UMA-2 can also be used for hard surfacing application using cored wire.

The UMA-1 is a required accessory for the UWM-2 Portable Flexible Welder, designed specifically for manual submerged arc welding applications.
