The LEVOIT LV600HH Hybrid Ultrasonic Humidifier offers a range of features to improve your indoor air quality. With a large 1.5-gallon water tank, it provides up to 300mL/h of cool mist or 500mL/h of warm mist output for rooms up to 753 square feet. You can customize the humidity level, choose between three mist levels, and set a timer for automatic shut-off. • Only use the humidiﬁer as described in

this manual.

• Place the humidiﬁer and cord so that the

humidiﬁer will not be knocked over. Do

not place near large pieces of furniture

or in high-trac areas.

• When not in use, turn the humidiﬁer o

and disconnect from power source by

removing the plug from the outlet.

• Do not overﬁll the water tank, as this

may cause electric shock.

• Do not use the humidiﬁer in wet

environments.

• Keep the humidiﬁer out of reach from

children.

• Do not open the base or remove the

water level sensor for self-servicing.

• Always unplug the humidiﬁer from

the power outlet before cleaning the

humidiﬁer or detaching the water tank

from the humidiﬁer base.

• Always make sure the humidiﬁer is

placed on a ﬂat, level surface before

operation.

• Only ﬁll the water tank with puriﬁed or

distilled water. Never ﬁll the water tank

with any other liquids unless directed by

the manual.

• Do not place the humidiﬁer near

sources of heat, such as stove tops,

ovens, or radiators.

• Do not place the humidiﬁer directly on

ﬂoors, carpets, or rugs. Only place the

humidiﬁer on water-resistant surfaces.

To reduce the risk of ﬁre, electric shock, or other injury, follow all instructions and

safety guidelines.

General Safety • Do not use attachments that are

not recommended by Levoit for the

humidiﬁer.

• Do not cover the nozzles while the

humidiﬁer is on. Doing so may damage

the humidiﬁer.

• Remove the water tank from the base

before moving the humidiﬁer.

• Do not immerse the humidiﬁer base,

power cord, or plug in water.

• Do not place foreign objects into the

humidiﬁer’s base or water tank.

• Do not direct mist towards walls,

furniture, or other objects and areas that

are not moisture-resistant.

• Do not clean the humidiﬁer immediately

after turning it o, especially if it has been

diusing warm mist. Allow the humidiﬁer

to cool down completely before cleaning.

• Do not clean the humidiﬁer with cleaning

detergents (see Care & Maintenance,

page 16).

• Children should not clean or perform

maintenance on the humidiﬁer without

supervision.

• Children should be supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the humidiﬁer.

• This humidiﬁer is not to be used by persons

(including children) with reduced physical,

sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of

experience and knowledge, unless they

have been given supervision or instruction

concerning the use of the appliance by a

person responsible for the safety.

• Do not handle the power cord or plug

with wet hands. Keep the plug and

power cord away from liquids.

• This humidiﬁer has a polarized plug (one

prong is wider than the other), which

ﬁts into a polarized outlet only one way.

This is a safety feature to reduce the

risk of electric shock. If the plug does

not ﬁt, reverse the plug. If it still does not

ﬁt, do not use the plug in that outlet. Do

not bypass this safety feature.

• Turns the humidiﬁer

on/o.

Mist Level Button

settings: low, medium, and

The remote control can be used to control

any of the humidiﬁer’s functions from a

distance. It must be within 16 ft / 5 m of the

humidiﬁer to work.

GETTING STARTED

1. Place the humidiﬁer on a ﬂat, level,

elevated, and water-resistant surface,

such as a table or nightstand. Place the

humidiﬁer at least 12 inches / 30 cm away

from walls and appliances to prevent

them from getting wet, and to ensure

the humidity sensor functions correctly.

[Figure 2.1] Make sure the room is well-

ventilated.

Note:

• Do not place the humidiﬁer directly

on ﬂoors, carpets, or rugs.

• Place a towel or mat underneath

the humidiﬁer when using it for

long periods of time. When the

humidiﬁer produces a high volume

of mist, moisture may collect around

the humidiﬁer, making the surface

around it wet.

Note:

• We recommend using puriﬁed or

distilled water in the humidiﬁer.

• The maximum capacity is 1.5 gal / 6 L.

• Before replacing the water tank cap,

make sure the silicone ring around

the cap is secure.

2. Remove the nozzle cap from the water

tank. Carefully use the handle to remove

the water tank from the base. [Figure 2.2]

3. Flip the tank over and twist the water

tank cap counterclockwise to remove it.

4. Pour water into the opening. Fill the

tank at least halfway with cold or room

temperature water. Do not use hot water.

5. Replace the water tank cap. Twist the cap

clockwise to secure it tightly to the water

tank. [Figure 2.8] Wipe o any excess

water on the top and bottom of the base.

• Do not add water into the inner chamber of

the base. [Figure 2.4]

• Do not add water through the nozzles or

mist tube. [Figure 2.5] This may damage the

humidiﬁer.

• Do not add essential oils into the humidiﬁer.

6. Carefully place the water tank back onto

the base, aligning the water tank cap with

the inner chamber. Place the nozzle cap

back on top of the water tank. [Figure 2.9]

Caution

USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER

1. Plug in the humidiﬁer. The humidiﬁer will

light up, then turn o.

2. Press to turn on the humidiﬁer.

The humidiﬁer will start misting on the

medium cool mist setting.

General Operation

Note:

• If there is no water in the tank,

will light up. Fill the water tank (see

Getting Started, page 8).

• The humidiﬁer will be able to run for

a longer or shorter time depending

on the environmental temperature

and humidity.

Note:

• Direct the nozzles away from any

furniture, walls, or other objects to

prevent them from getting wet.

• Do not inhale the mist directly from

the nozzles.

Note: If the relative humidity in your

room is too high for your comfort, use

the low mist setting or turn o the

humidiﬁer.

3. Rotate the nozzles to adjust the direction

of the mist. [Figure 3.1]

4. Optionally, press to change the mist

level.

5. Press to turn o the humidiﬁer.

1. Press once. The

display will show “--”.

• Press to turn on warm mist. Keep

pressing to increase the heat setting for

the mist, and to turn warm mist o.

• Caution: Mist may be hot. Do not place

your bare hands, face, or other exposed

skin over the nozzles while using warm

mist. [Figure 3.2]

• The humidiﬁer may take 15 minutes to

warm up before producing warm mist.

• The warm mist function can be used

with Auto Mode.

You can customize the humidity level that

the humidiﬁer will maintain.

Note:

• After setting the RH percentage,

the display will alternate between

• To cancel your selection, press and

hold for 3 seconds, or set the

humidity level to “--”.

• The programmed humidity level

• You can still adjust the mist level,

the timer, and the warm mist setting

after setting the humidity level.

4. Once the humidity of the environment

reaches the set RH percentage, the

humidiﬁer will automatically stop

misting. It will start misting again when

the humidity drops to 5% below the set

level.

USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER (CONT.)

You can set a timer between 1 and 12 hours.

Auto Mode uses the humidiﬁer’s sensor to

automatically adjust the mist level (or turn it

o) to maintain a humidity level of 55–68%

RH (relative humidity). The humidiﬁer will run

continuously when relative humidity is below

54% RH and will stop when it reaches 68% RH.

This table shows the mist levels that Auto

Mode will use dierent relative humidity levels.

While the humidiﬁer is plugged in, it will

remember your settings (except Timer)

when turned o, and will resume those

settings when turned back on.

The humidiﬁer will automatically turn o

when all of the water in the tank has been

diused, or if the tank has been removed

from the base. will show on the display

(and the rest of the display will turn o) until

more water is added to the water tank, or

until the tank is placed properly back on the

base. [Figure 3.3]

The display will automatically dim after 30

seconds of inactivity.

The mineral absorption pads help prevent

mineral buildup (scale) inside the humidiﬁer,

especially around the heating plate.

• Press repeatedly to choose a time

in increments of 1 hour. When you stop

pressing , the display will ﬂash 3

times and the timer will start.

• The humidiﬁer will automatically power

o once the timer is ﬁnished.

• To cancel a timer, press repeatedly

until the display reads “-:--”.

• Press to turn Auto Mode on/o.

• The timer and warm mist settings can be

used with Auto Mode.

• Changing the mist level or the humidity

level will exit Auto Mode.

The humidiﬁer can be used for

aromatherapy.

Using the Aroma Box

1. Pull out the aroma box on the left side

of the humidiﬁer. [Figures 3.4]

2. Put 2–3 drops of essential oil on the

aroma pad. [Figure 3.5]

3. Place the aroma box back into the

humidiﬁer.

4. Turn on the humidiﬁer. The humidiﬁer

will automatically diuse aroma when

used.

Note:

• Do not add essential oils, supplemental

water treatment liquids, or third-party

water ﬁlters into the water tank or base.

Only add essential oils to the aroma

pad. [Figure 3.6]

• The aroma pads can be cleaned and

reused after diusing essential oils (see

Cleaning the Aroma Pad, page 18).

• The aroma is intended to be light. This

humidiﬁer is not an aroma diuser.

Your humidiﬁer must have the correct

amount of water in the inner chamber to

work properly. If there is too much water in

the inner chamber, the humidiﬁer cannot

create mist.

IMPORTANT TIPS

• Never pour water directly into the

inner chamber. Only add water to the

water tank. [Figure 4.1] The humidiﬁer

will automatically release the correct

amount of water into the inner chamber.

• Avoid moving or shaking the humidiﬁer.

[Figure 4.2] This may cause the water

tank to release too much water into the

inner chamber.

• Before moving the humidiﬁer, turn it o,

unplug it, and remove the water tank.

• If your humidiﬁer doesn’t produce mist

correctly, there may be too much water

in the inner chamber. Pour out the water

in the inner chamber, reﬁll the tank, and

place the tank back on the base.

• Make sure the silicone ring around the

water tank cap is secure at all times.

• Twist and secure the cap tightly onto

the water tank. [Figure 4.5]

Note: A small gap between the cap

and the tank is normal.

• Before moving the humidiﬁer, remove

the tank from the base and empty any

excess water from the inner chamber of

the base.

• Wipe o any excess water on the top

and bottom of the base.

• Do not shake the humidiﬁer or place

it on an inclined surface. Make sure

to place the humidiﬁer on a ﬂat, level

surface. [Figure 4.6]

IMPORTANT TIPS (CONT.)

Note: If you’ve been using the warm

mist setting, allow the humidiﬁer to cool

before cleaning.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Note:

• All maintenance should be done on

a water-resistant surface, such as a

kitchen counter.

• Change the water daily to avoid

bacteria growth.

• Use a tissue or cloth to clean the

nozzles regularly.

• If not using the humidiﬁer for 1 week or

longer, do not leave water inside. Clean

and dry the humidiﬁer instead.

Note:

• Never immerse the base in water or

liquid. Do not place any part of the

humidiﬁer in a dishwasher.

• Do not use detergents to clean the

humidiﬁer.

Cleaning

You should clean your humidiﬁer every

week, and when you’re ready to store it.

1. Unplug the humidiﬁer. Always make

sure the humidiﬁer is unplugged before

cleaning.

2. Remove and rinse the nozzle cap.

[Figure 5.1]

3. Remove the water tank from the base

and pour out any water from the inner

chamber of the base. [Figure 5.2] If

you’ve used the warm mist setting, use

caution in case the water is still hot.

4. Rinse the tank and inner chamber with

room temperature water.

5. Remove the mist channel and mist tube.

[Figure 5.3] Detach the mist tube from

the mist channel by twisting the tube

counterclockwise. Rinse both parts.

6. To remove mineral buildup (scale):

a. Fill the tank with 3 US cups / 710 mL

of distilled white vinegar. [Figure 5.4]

b. Replace the water tank cap and

gently shake to coat all sides of the

water tank. [Figure 5.5]

c. Place the tank on the base and soak

for 15–20 minutes. Vinegar will drain

into the inner chamber and loosen

scale in the tank and in the inner

chamber (including the transducer

and ﬂoat). [Figure 5.6]

d. Remove the tank and pour out any

vinegar. [Figure 5.7]

e. Use the included cleaning brush and

a soft cloth to remove scale.

7. Rinse all parts until any vinegar smell is

completely gone. [Figure 5.9]

8. Dry all parts with a cloth. Make sure all

parts of the humidiﬁer are completely dry

before reassembling or storing.

Cleaning the Aroma Pad &

Absorption Pad

Note: Do not use liquid cleaners or

detergents to clean the pads or any

other part of the humidiﬁer.

1. Pull out the aroma box and remove the

aroma pad. [Figure 5.10]

2. Remove the absorption pad from inside

the heating element. [Figure 5.11]

3. Rinse the pads under warm, running

water.

4. Dry the pads with a clean cloth.

5. Place the aroma pad back into the

aroma box.

6. Place the absorption pad back into the

base.

1. Remove the battery compartment by

pinching the tab in and pulling the

compartment out. [Figure 5.12]

2. Remove the old battery.

3. Replace with a new 3V CR2025 battery.

Make sure the polarities match.

4. Replace the battery compartment.

Replacing the Aroma Pad &

Absorption Pad

Storing

If the aroma pad or absorption pad is sti

even after cleaning, then it needs to be

replaced. Extra pads are included with the

humidiﬁer.

To maintain the performance of your

humidiﬁer, only use ocial Levoit aroma

pads and absorption pads. For more

information, contact Customer Support

(see page 25).

Follow the cleaning instructions (see page

15) and allow all parts to dry completely

before storing. Store in a cool, dry location.

Little or no mist comes

out of the nozzles.

Plug in the humidiﬁer and turn it on.

Fill the water tank.

Clean the humidiﬁer (see Care & Maintenance, page 16).

Water may be in the air vent. Take the water tank o and allow

the vent to fully air dry before using again.

Clean the humidiﬁer, especially the nozzles and transducer (see

Care & Maintenance, page 16). Make sure nothing is blocking

the air vent.

There may be too much water in the inner chamber. Empty the

inner chamber. Reﬁll the water tank (not the inner chamber) and

place the water tank properly onto the base.

Humidiﬁer uses water

too quickly.

The humidiﬁer uses up water based on the environmental

temperature and humidity. If your environment is cold and/or dry,

the humidiﬁer will run out of water faster.

Using the warm mist function will use up water faster.

Humidiﬁer produces an

unusual smell.

If the humidiﬁer is new, remove the water tank cap and place the

water tank in a cool, dry place for 12 hours.

If essential oils were diused, rinse the aroma pad and allow it to

dry.

Clean the humidiﬁer (see Care & Maintenance, page 16).

Humidiﬁer makes a loud

or unusual noise.

Make sure the water tank is properly in place (see Getting

Started, page 8).

Place humidiﬁer on a ﬂat, level surface.

Fill the water tank.

When using the warm mist function, the heating element will

make a gurgling noise if the water level is low. Add more water to

the water tank.

The humidiﬁer may be malfunctioning. Stop using the humidiﬁer

and contact Customer Support (see page 25).

Mist leaks from the

base.

Make sure the water tank is properly in place (see Getting

Started, page 8).
