Overview
Power Quality Management for Switchgear Panels
Various power quality problems such as Dips(Sags)/Swells often occur in switchgear panels due to issues
related to power supply, power facilities, and loads. Thus, energy managers should devise proper preventive
measures by effectively analyzing power quality and identifying causes of problems.
±0.2% of Reading/ IEC62053-22 Class 0.2S Accuracy
Recently, it has become essential to establish an enterprise-wide energy management system for efficient
energy usage at sites such as plants, factories, and buildings due to greenhouse gas emission regulations.
The measurement accuracy of power meters is a key factor that determines the reliability of the energy
management system. Accura 3700 provides high accuracy of ±0.2% of reading for voltage and current
measurement and meets IEC62053-22 class 0.2S for power and energy measurement. This makes it possible
to precisely analyze and diagnose various problems in energy management at power facilities.
True RMS Measurement
Accura 3700 performs true RMS measurements for high power non-linear loads using 128 samples per
cycle.
A Variety of Power Quality Data Available: Dip(Sag)/Swell (IEC61000-4-30]
Accura 3700 provides a wide variety of power quality data, including Dip(Sag), Swell, harmonics(up to 63rd
order), Crest factor, K-factor, and unbalance. It allows energy managers to easily identify changes in power
quality in various switchgear panels at power facilities, enabling effective power quality management.
Power quality data conform to IEC61000-4-30.
Max/Min/Average Values Available at Aggregation Intervals
Accura 3700 provides the average values measured with 0.2-second intervals based on the values measured
over 1 cycle. Based on the average value for the 0.2-second intervals, Accura 3700 provides the average
values for 1-second, 5-second, 1-minute, 5-minute, 1-hour and 6-hour intervals. An aggregation interval
indicates the measurement interval that is longer than 0.2 seconds.
Via communication, Accura 3700 provides not only the average values of the measurement parameters for
the 0.2-second interval, but also the maximum/minimum/average values of voltage, current and power for
each aggregation interval. Since it offers measurement data that change instantaneously at the aggregation
interval, it allows for accurate trend analysis of voltage, current and power quality.

requirements for CE(EN61326-1, EN61326-2-1), UL(UL61010-1), KC(KN22, KN24), FCC(Part15 B) standards.
Additional Functions Available with Expansion Modules
Accura 3700 allows you to easily connect expansion modules to the back of the device, providing a range
of additional functions to better suit your needs in the field. Expansion modules include the DIO, DI, DO,
analog input, analog output, analog/pulse output, RTD input, leakage current measurement and DC
measurement modules. Using expansion modules is optional. It is possible to add up to three modules
regardless of connection sequence, and the same type of modules can be connected redundantly. However,
for DI and AO modules, you can redundantly connect up to two modules.

Applications
Highly Reliable Energy Management
Efficient energy management is essential in power quality management, cost management, demand power
management, power facility replacement, and energy planning in conjunction with upper-level programs.
The accuracy of digital meters is one of the most important factors that determines the reliability of energy
measurement data. Accura 3700 provides ±0.2% of high accuracy reading for voltage and current
measurement and meets IEC62053-22 class 0.2S for power and energy measurement. It allows for the
establishment of accurate energy management systems.
Accurate Analysis of Energy Usage and Power Quality for Devising Proper Energy Efficiency Measures
Accura 3700 provides various data needed for energy usage management, power facility management,
power quality management and analysis and management of high-efficiency facilities. This enables energy
managers to make proper energy efficiency measures based on accurate analysis of energy usage and
power quality.
Enterprise-wide Energy Management System
Installed at various switchgear panels in power facilities, Accura 3700 provides essential power quality data
needed for energy management, along with Accura 2300(2300S)/2350 mounted on branch loads inside
distribution panels. This allows for truly efficient enterprise-wide energy management systems by providing
measurement data for both switchgears and distribution panels.
