BLOTZ B15-WF-106 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for building the 15mm Jersey Barriers B15-WF-106. The document includes detailed steps on assembling the model with glue and a sharp knife. It also covers painting techniques using various drybrushing methods. I'm ready to answer any specific questions you might have about these instructions.
  • What kind of glue is required to assemble the model?
What tool is needed to remove parts from the sprue?
What is the first step of painting after construction?
15mm Jersey Barriers
B15-WF-106
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in
place while you allow glue to dry.
Take the three uprights and central bar as shown
above from the sprue.
Slide the uprights onto the bar, gluing them at one
end (see pic)
Take the four “gap” pieces and one more upright.
Glue two of the gap pieces onto the bar, followed
by the upright and then the other two “gap” pieces.
Finally add the last three uprights.
The finished items.
Painting
After construction we sprayed the models with a matt black car primer aerosol, then applied a heavy drybrush
of a dark blue/grey colour emulsion.
After that had dried we applied a lighter drybrush of a pale grey colour, then followed this by a very light dry-
brush of an almost white emulsion.
All our emulsion paints are DIY store colour-test pots.
