Spirit Wacky Mole Clown is a motion-activated animatronic clown that can be used for decoration indoors or in a sheltered outdoor area. It has three operation settings: On, Sensor, and Off/Try Me. In On mode, the clown will run continuously. In Sensor mode, the clown will only be activated when the infrared sensor is triggered, which has a range of up to 2 meters/6.56 feet and can work in all lighting conditions. In Off/Try Me mode, the clown will only be activated if the Try-Me button is triggered.

This item is not a toy and should be used for decoration only. This item contains small parts that can be a

choking hazard. Keep all plastic and wire parts away from children. This product is intended for people

ages 14 and up.

EASY ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

This item, when assembled by the following instructions, should take 15 minutes to assemble.

Please follow the step by step guide and enjoy your Wacky Mole Clown!

STEP 1

NOTE: The longer end of the (A) Base goes towards the front

Now assemble (A) Support Poles together and attach to (B) Base as shown and secure by aligning

the quick-connect push buttons into the pre-drilled holes.

STEP 2

Lower the (C) Shoes over the (B) Support Poles through the provided hole on the bottom of each (C) Shoe as

shown. Note the shoes are the same and can go on either leg. Now Place the (D) Pants over the support

poles as shown. Note that the stripes on the pants are on the right leg and the polka dots are on the left leg.

STEP 3

Now place (E) Torso Frame onto the tops of (B) Support Poles as shown and secure by aligning the

quick-connect push buttons into the pre-drilled hole. Note: the Speaker should be facing towards

the front.

Lower the (F) Hip Ring over the (E) Torso Frame and attach through the slots located in the sides

at the bottom of the (F) torso Frame as shown.

Now plug the UL Power Adapter into the input receiving jack marked “DC 6V” on the Function

Control box and route the power cord down towards the bottom of the frame.

OPTIONAL: If you choose to use Spirit’s Step Here Foot pad (sold separately), plug the connector

into the input receiving jack marked “TRY ME” on the Function Control box and route the Step

Here pad down and out the (D) Pants and out through the bottom of the (C) Shoe, then set the Step

Here pad in front of the character.

STEP 4

Place the (G) Shoulder Frame on to the (E) Torso Frame as shown. Then lower (H) Shirt over the

(E) torso frame as shown.

STEP 5

Now slide the (I) Left Arm up through the left sleeve and slide the forked-hook into the left slot

housing on the (E) Torso Frame. Slide the (J) Right Arm up through the right sleeve and slide the

forked-hook into the right slot housing on the (E) Torso Frame. Set the (K) Left Hand into place by

sliding the forked-hook into the “wrist” slot housing on the end of the arm. Set the (L) Right Hand

with Hammer into place by sliding the forked-hook into the “wrist” slot housing on the end of the

arm.

STEP 6

Place the (M) Head into the (E) Torso Frame by sliding the forked-hook into “neck” slot housing on

the top of (E) Torso Frame then attach the cable from the (M) Head to the power box as shown.

STEP 7

Now Place (N) Neck Ruffle around the neck and close from the back with the hook and loop

closures provide, also secure the (N) Neck Ruffle to the (M) Head using the hook and loop closures

provide as shown. At this time close the back of the (H) Shirt with the hook and loop closures

provided.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Plug the UL Power Adapter into a standard power outlet and adjust the settings on the Function

Control Box to your liking.

2. Wacky Mole Clown has 3 operation settings which can be found on the main Function Control Box

on the (D) Torso Frame:

• On: This setting allows the item to run continuously.

• Sensor: This setting allows the item to only be activated when the infra-red sensor is

activated. The item will operate for one audio-cycle with each sensor activation.

• The Infra-red (IR) sensor will activate when someone comes within an 80-degree angle

from left-to-right, as well as from above and below.

• The Infra-red (IR) sensor has a range of up to 2 meters/6.56 feet, and can work in all

lighting conditions – bright light to no-light!

• Off/Try-Me: This setting allows the item to be activated only if the Try-Me is triggered. The

item will operate for one audio-cycle with each Try-Me activation.

The Function Control box also includes a Volume Control knob, which allows you to adjust the

volume to be as loud or as quiet as needed. Be sure to test the item before finalizing your display

so you can set the volume to your liking.
