Note: ProPlex DIN Rail Opto-Splitters are a part of a lighting control signal
network. Opto-Splitters are used for standard DMX signal amplification,
isolation and splitting to multiple DMX outputs. Opto-Splitters ensure the safety
of the equipment on either side of the Opto-Splitter. Should there be an
electrical failure in a piece of equipment on one side of the Opto-Splitter, the
attached equipment on the opposite side will not be affected. There is no
isolation however between the IN and THRU connections.
RDM Opto-Splitters provide all of the same protection as standard Opto-
Splitters with the addition of RDM protocol support.
