Direct Attach Cables
Direct attach cables (DACs) are used to connect one S3500 with another when forming a stack. DACs are
installed in an uplink module in the same manner as an SFP module, using the 10GBASE-X Ports. For
information on how to install an SFP or a DAC, see "Installing an SFP" on page5. For a list of DACs
available through Aruba, see Table 3.
