2. Do not use this product near water (e.g., near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet basement, or near a
swimming pool, etc.).
3. This product should be used only with a cart or stand that will keep it level and stable and prevent wobbling.
4. This product, in combination with headphones or speakers, may be capable of producing sound levels that
could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a
level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult an
audiologist.
5. The product should be positioned so that proper ventilation is maintained.
6. The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, heat vents, or other devices
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
7. The product should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or
as marked on the product. Replace the fuse only with one of the specified type, size, and correct rating.
8. The power supply cord should: (1) be undamaged, (2) never share an outlet or extension cord with other
devices so that the outlet’s or extension cord’s power rating is exceeded, and (3) never be left plugged into
the outlet when not being used for a long period of time.
9. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall into, and liquids are not spilled through, the enclosure’s
openings.
10. The product should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:

1. UNSWITCHED CONVENIENCE OUTLET
These 25A outlets always provide unfiltered power, even when the CPD-1006L is switched off. They
are not controlled by the delay switches nor connected to the
15A Circuit Breaker (2).
2.
15A CIRCUIT BREAKER
The CPD-1006Ls current rating is 15A (max). If the current draw of the connected equipment
exceeds 15A, the breaker will trip and cut off the power. Disconnect some equipment or otherwise
lower the current draw to enable use of this unit. You can then turn on the power again by pressing
the breaker button.
3.
POWER SWITCH
When it’s switched to “ON” the unit will provide power to the outlets sequentially from Zone 1
through Zone 6 in turn. The sequence delay time is factory set at 2 seconds, but can be factory
adjusted also to 1 or 3 seconds (contact the Nady Service Department to change internal delay
adjustment). The sequence for powering off will be reversed when it’s switched to “OFF”. When
“ON” the
Zone Indicators Display (4) and Voltmeter Display (5) will light up.
4.
ZONE 1 - 6 DISPLAY
The LED indicators will light or turn off indicating when components connected to the ZONE
1/2/3/4/5/6 outlets are powered on and off.
5.
VOLTMETER DISPLAY
When the unit is powered “ON”, this 3-digit display will light and indicate numerically the supply
voltage to the entire audio system connected to the Zone outputs.
6.
LED RACK LAMP
To illuminate your unit and other rack gear mounted below it, pull out the retractable LED light and
rotate to angle desired (+/- 30° from vertical). The lighting is adjustable with the
Dimmer Switch (7).
7.
DIMMER SWITCH
To adjust the illumination level of the LED Rack Lamp (6) select either “HIGH” (for brightest light),
“OFF”, or “LOW” (for dimmest light).

8. POWER CORD
Connect power cord to AC source (120VAC, 16A minimum) before turning unit “ON”.
9.
CHASSIS GROUND
Use a wire connected from this terminal to system ground for best results and to eliminate ground
loop hum.
10.
GROUNDING INDICATOR
The LED will light to indicate good grounding status. If it doesn’t light, connect a wire from the
Chassis Ground (9) to system ground until the LED lights.
11.
ZONE 1-6 AC OUTLETS
These outlets have three kinds of filter (digital filter/analog filter/high power), which are designed to
reduce the noise to your connected digital/analog/high current components. Zones 1-4 are rate 5A
maximum and are for connecting lower draw digital components such as a CD player, or computer.
Zone 5 (2 outlets) are rated 10A maximum and are for connecting medium power analog units such
as mixers. Zone 6 (2 outlets) is rated 15A maximum and should be used for connecting high power
components such as power amplifier. When the CPD-1006L is turned on, the digital and analog
outlets, Zones 1-5, are switched on first in 2 second sequential intervals, and then the high current
Zone 6 outlets are switched on. This delayed sequencing protects speakers connected to the
amplifiers from the turn-on noises of the equipment connected to Zones 1-5. Powering “OFF” is the
reverse sequence and protects the speakers from any turn-off noises generated by the equipment
connected to Zones 1/5.
