FLOWSKIM VENTED BASKET HANDLE
The FlowSkim Basket Handle provides a bypass for water flow
when the skimmer basket is full of debris. FlowSkim protects the
pump from operating dry which can cause damage. The
FlowSkim design allows for easier removal from the skimmer, and
makes emptying the basket cleaner, faster, and easier.
Tools Needed: Phillips Head Screwdriver
1. Locate the two upper mounting holes on the
skimmer basket just under the upper lip. See Fig. 1.
Note: If basket does not have upper mounting holes
they can be manually added by drill. Use the
FlowSkim Handle as a template for location.
2. Install the two upper mounting screws through the
basket and into the upper mounting holes in the
FlowSkim Handle. See Fig. 2.
3. Find the existing strainer holes in the basket that
are nearest to the lower mounting holes in the
FlowSkim Handle. Install the two lower mounting
screws through the basket and into the lower
mounting holes in the FlowSkim Handle. See Fig. 3.
NOTE: Please see pump manufacturers technical
information regarding necessary water flow
required for minimal operation. This product is
not intended to solve low water flow issues with
the pump.
