LIMITED TOOL WARRANTY
KING CANADA makes every effort to ensure that this product meets high quality
and durability standards. KING CANADA warrants to the original retail consumer a
2-year limited warranty as of the date the product was purchased at retail and that
each product is free from defects in materials. Warranty does not apply to defects
due directly or indirectly to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or
alterations and lack of maintenance. KING CANADA shall in no event be liable for
death, injuries to persons or property or for incidental, special or consequential
damages arising from the use of our products. To take advantage of this warranty,
the product or part must be returned for examination by the retailer. Shipping and
handling charges may apply. If a defect is found, KING CANADA will either repair
or replace the product.

1. KNOW YOUR TOOL
Read and understand the owners manual and labels affixed to the tool. Learn its
application and limitations as well as its specific potential hazards.
2. Don’t use power tools in damp or wet locations or expose them to rain. Keep work area
well lit and provide adequate surrounding work space.
3. USE RIGHT TOOL.
Don’t force the tool or the attachment to do a job for which it was not designed.
4. MAINTAIN TOOL WITH CARE.
Keep tool clean for best and safest performance. Follow instructions for operation and
changing accessories.
5. USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES.
Only use recommended accessories. Follow the instructions that accompany the
accessories. The use of improper accessories may cause hazards.
6. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS.
Before further use of the tool, parts that are damaged should be carefully checked to
ensure they will operate properly and perform their intended function. Check for
alignment of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other conditions that
may affect its operation. Parts which are damaged should be properly repaired or
replaced.
Additional safety instructions for batteries and chargers
Batteries
-Never attempt to open the charger for any reason.
-Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40˚C.
-Charge only at ambient temperatures between 4˚C and 40˚C.
-Charge only using the charger provided with the tool.
-Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur. When you notice liquid on the
battery, proceed as follows:
Carefully wipe the liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin contact.
• In case of skin or eye contact, follow the instructions below.
In case of skin contact, immediately rinse with water. Neutralise with a mild acid such as
lemon juice or vinegar. In case of eye contact, rinse abundantly with clean water for at least
10 minutes. Consult a physician.
Fire hazard! Avoid short-circuiting the contacts of a detached battery. Do not incinerate the
battery.
Chargers (This charger is intended for indoor use only)
-Use the charger provided with the tool only to charge the battery.
-Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
-Have defective cords replaced immediately.
-Do not expose to water.
-Donot open the charger.
-Donot probe the charger.

CHARGING BATTERY,
OPERATION
Charging the Battery
Caution: The battery is not fully charged and must therefore be charged before the tool is
used for the first time.
1. Place tool within one meter of a 120V / 60 Hz wall receptacle.
2. Insert charger jack into DC socket on bottom of tool body.
3. Insert charger into a 120V / 60 Hz wall receptacle. The red indicator light will turn on.
4. Allow 3 to 8 hours for battery to become fully charged.
5. Disconnect from the charger from the tool and the wall receptacle after charging.
Do not use the tool while it is connected to the charger.
Operation
1. Insert bit into the bit holder as far as it will go.
2. Grasp the tool firmly with both hands, align the bit with the screw and press it firmly into
the screw.
3. Start the tool by pressing the ON/OFF switch. Hold down the top of the switch to turn
the screw in forward. Hold down the bottom of the switch to turn the screw in reverse.
4. Battery power charge display LED lights:
Press the small power charge button located below the forward/reverse switch, on the
front part of the grip.
If the red, yellow and green lights all illuminate, the battery is fully charged.
If only the red and yellow lights illuminate, the battery is half-charged.
• If only the red light illuminates, the battery is low and the tool should be recharged.
Fitting and removing a screwdriver bit
To fit a screwdriver bit, push it into the 1/4” collet until it locates.
To remove a screwdriver bit, pull it straight from the 1/4” collet.
Fitting and removing a bit using extension bit holder
Tofit the extension bit holder,push it into the 1/4” collet.
To fit a bit, insert it into the extension bit holder.
To remove a bit, pull it from the extension bit holder.
To remove the extension bit holder, pull it straight from the 1/4” collet.
OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
screwdriver bit selection
Always select the correct screwdriver bit for the screw being used. Use the largest
possible size that will fit into the screw to avoid damaging the screw or the bit. Only use 1”
short bits together with the extension bit holder.
Maintenance
Your tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum of
maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool care and
regular cleaning. Your charger does not require any maintenance apart from regular
cleaning. Unplug the charger before cleaning it.
Regularly clean the charger using a soft brush or dry cloth.
Regularly clean your tool using a damp cloth.
Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.
Protecting the Environment
Should you find one day that your tool needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to
you, think of the protection of the environment.
If you want to dispose of the tool yourself, the battery must be removed as described below
and disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. Do not use tools to remove the battery; only use
your fingers.
Loosen the screws of tool and open the tool cover.
Pull the battery out and disconnect the wires to remove it from the tool.
Place the battery in a suitable packaging to ensure that the terminals cannot be short-
circuited.
Take the battery to your service agent or a local recycling station. Collected batteries will
be recycled or disposed of properly.
