Welcome to the instruction manual for the APOLLO 4.8V Rechargeable
Cordless Screwdriver. Please read all information below to ensure the
safe operation of this product.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Work Area
* Before beginning to use your Cordless Screwdriver, ensure that your work area is clean
and well lit.
* Be careful not to operate your Cordless Screwdriver in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust, as sparks may ignite.
* Keep children away from the work area when using your Cordless Screwdriver.
* Before use, carefully check the tool to determine whether it will operate and perform its
intended function.

Check for misalignment and freezing of moving parts, breakage of parts, damage to
guards and switches and any other conditions that may affect its operation. Do not use
the tool if any part is damaged or defective.
Do not use the tool if the Forward/Reverse Switch does not work.
* Have any damaged or defective parts replaced by our service center. Never attempt any
repairs yourself.
* Avoid unintentional turning on of this tool.
* Do not carry the tool with a finger on the Forward/Reverse Switch or the On/Off Trigger.
* Never carry the charger by its cord nor pull the cord to disconnect it from the socket.
* Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
* Store this screwdriver when not in use.
* When not in use, tools, batteries and rechargers should be stored in a dry, locked or high
place, out of reach of danger.
* Maintain tools with care.
* Keep handles and switches dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Safety
IMPORTANT!!
Before using this tool you must charge the battery.
Charging the battery:
* The battery needs to be charged before first use.
*
Only after several charge and discharge cycles will the battery attain and maintain full
capacity.
*
The battery may become warm while charging, this is normal and does not indicate a
problem.
1.To charge the battery, insert the charger plug into the charging socket.
2.Leave the tool connected to the charger for up to 5 hours.
Before using the tool, unplug the charger and disconnect the tool from the charger.
For your own safety read this manual carefully before using your Cordless Screwdriver.
Caution:
* Do not charge using other specification chargers. Use only the APOLLO charger
that came with this screwdriver when charging.
* Do not use the tool while it is connected to the recharger.
Batteries
* Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40ºC (104ºF).
* Charge only at ambient temperatures between 4ºC (39.2ºF) and 40ºC (104ºF).

Charge only using the charger provided with the tool as other chargers might use
different amperages and can damage or destroy your battery and/or screwdriver.
* When disposing of batteries, follow the instructions provided in the “RBRC” section.
* Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur. Avoid skin contact. In case of skin
contact with battery liquid, immediately rinse with water. Neutralize with a mild acid such
as lemon or vinegar.
Operating your cordless screwdriver

To tighten a screw, push forward the Forward/Reverse Switch and press the On/Off Trigger.
*
To loosen a screw, press back on the Forward/Reverse Switch and press the On/Off Trigger.
* Always wait until the motor has come to a complete stop before changing the direction
of rotation.
Cleaning And Maintenance
This Cordless Screwdriver does not require any special maintenance.
Automatic Spindle Lock Function

The spindle lock allows you to use the tool as a
regular manual screwdriver giving you the ability to
more firmly tighten a screw or to loosen a very
tight screw.
RBRC SEAL
The RBRC (Rechargable Battery Recycling Corporation) Seal on the nickel-cadmium battery
is meant to indicate that APOLLO has covered the expense of the recycling cost at the
end of the battery's useful life.
In some areas it is illegal to dispose of these batteries in the trash so RBRC provides an
environmentally friendly means of disposal. For information on how to dispose of these

ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Limited Warranty
Your APOLLO Cordless Screwdriver is warranted against defects in workmanship and
materials for one year from date of original purchase. Please send in your warranty
registration card ASAP to ensure that your warranty is actively registered and please keep
your register receipt as proof of purchase.

Damage while in the possession of the consumer which does not result from a defect in
materials and workmanship, and damage from other than normal use, including misuse,
abuse and repair by unauthorized parties is not covered by this limited warranty.
Limitations:
Implied warranties are limited to one year from date of purchase. All warranties other than
the express warranty herein contained, including but not limited to, any implied warranty
of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the
applicable warranty period set forth above.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so
the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives specific legal
