4. Test transformer voltage output.
5. Inspect the display board IC.

Possible cause: 1. Batteries in heart rate transmitter strap
2. Receiver board malfunction
3. Environmental interference from lights and speakers
Troubleshooting: 1. Replace the transmitter or its batteries.
2. Inspect the telemetry receiver board and its wire connections.
3.Inspect the heart rate board LEDs.
4. Replace the heart rate board as a test.
5. Inspect for environmental interference from lights and speakers, for example.
