Coast10 FAQ
1. How to connect the Coast 10 with my computer?
A: For the USB cable with 2 ends, one end is with 1 interface and another end is with 2 interfaces.
Plug the one with 1 interface into the Coast 10. Plug the one with 2 interfaces into computer.
If the indicator light is on, it means you did a successful connection.
Note:
For the end with 2 interfaces, the extra interface is designed to avoid the insufficient electricity
supply. If the indicator can't light on with 1 interface plugged, plug both 2 interfaces into your
computer.
2. Why is the indicator light not on after connecting the Coast 10 with my
computer?
A: 1) Confirm the USB ports of your computer are workable, try to plug the cable into different
USB ports of your computer.
2) Try to plug both interfaces of the USB cable.
If above doesn't help, the hardware might be defective.
3. What can i do if the Coast 10 can't display?
A: This is usually caused by the outdated display link driver.
1) Confirm the indicator light is on.
2) Download and install the latest display link driver from http://www.displaylink.com/
4. Why does the Coast10 show different with my computer?
A: Because you are using the extend mode. In extend mode, the Coast 10 is an extension of your
computer. To correctly use Coast 10 in extend mode, follow the tips below:
Windows OS:
1) Right click your desktop to enter Display settings.
2) There are 1 and 2 in the top, click 2 which represents Coast 10. You could click Identify to know
what 1 and 2 separately represent.
3) Make it the "main display" in the bottom.
4) If you want to make Coast 10 show same as your computer, change “Extend these displays” to
“Duplicate these displays” in Multiple displays.
Mac OS:
1) Go to System Preference-Displays-Arrangement.
2) Make Coast 10 the main display: move the “White head” from your Mac to Coast 10.
3) If you want to make Coast 10 show same as your Mac, click Mirror Displays.
5. How to download and install the latest driver for Parblo Coast 10?
A: Please completely uninstall any other tablet drivers on your computer.
Windows OS:
1) Download the latest driver from
https://support.parblo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005109973-Coast10-Digitizer
2) Right Click the driver you downloaded and choose "Run as administrator".
3) Complete the installation and restart your computer.
4) You will find a file named "Tablet setting" from the start menu.
5) Enter into tablet setting and try to draw in the test area:
6) If you could get pressure sensitivity in the test area, the driver was installed well.
Mac OS:
1) Download the latest driver from

2) Complete the installation and log out.
3) You should find a "tablet" icon appeared in the task bar, click "Quick Setup" to enter into tablet
setting.
4) Try to draw in the test area:
5) If you could get pressure sensitivity in the test area, the driver was installed well.
6. What can i do if my pen doesn't respond?
A:
Windows OS:
1) Check if the tablet is properly connected to the computer. You can find how to connect in the
Quick Start Guide.
2) Replace the nib of the stylus.
3) Check the driver.
3.1 If the driver cannot be opened, uninstall the driver manually. Then restart your computer and
install the driver as an administrator.
3.2 If the driver can be opened normally, but the pen is not responding. Please try the above
steps on another computer.
4) If it still doesn't work, please contact Parblo Support for help.
Mac OS:
1) Check if the cable is connected correctly, please follow the manual. Replace the pen tips.
Check if the driver can be opened.
2) If the driver cannot be opened, uninstall the driver, restart the computer, and install the driver
as an administrator.
3) If the driver is turned on and the pen is not responding, please replace the computer and
adapter, then repeat the above steps.
7. What can I do if the pen nib is offset the cursor?
A:
Windows OS:
1) Right click your desktop to enter Display settings.
2) There are 1 and 2 in the top, you could click Identify to know what 1 and 2 separately
represent.
3) Click 1(Computer), make Change the size of text, apps, and other items 100%,
make Resolution recommended.
4) Click 2(Coast 10), make Change the size of text, apps, and other items 100%.
5) Enter into Tablet Setting from Start.
6) In Mapping, select "monitor 2"(Coast 10), do the calibration.
Mac OS:
1) Enter Quick Setup from the tablet icon of Task bar.
2) Go to Region Setting and choose "Monitor 2”(Coast 10).
3) Click Default if the pen nib is still offset the cursor.
4) If you want to adjust the pen yourself, click Calibrate. Default is more recommended.
Note:It is a normal phenomenon to have a slightly optical parallax when using the pen to draw in
the monitor, because there is a thick glass between pen tip and pen touch area.
8. What can I do if the pressure sensitivity doesn't work in my frequently used
paint program?
A: This is caused by 2 probable reasons:
1) The driver isn't installed well.
2) Our product doesn't support the program you are using.
To confirm if the driver is installed well, please:
1) Find Tablet Setting from Start.
2) Enter Tablet Setting and try to draw in the test area.
3) If you could draw with pressure sensitivity, the driver is installed well.
Otherwise, please confirm there is no other tablet drivers in your computer and reinstall the
driver.
If you can't get pressure sensitivity in your program even if the driver was installed well, the
program might not be supported. Please send us the detailed version of your program so we can
test for you.
9. How to replace the pen nib?
A: Use the removal tool to pull the old nib straight out the pen.
Insert a new pen nib into the stylus and push the nib until it stops.
Tips: Nib replacement tool and spare nibs are included, when the pen nib gets too short or sharp
edge, you can replace it with the spare nibs.
