This product has been designed for use with children up to 24 months of age.
This product has been designed and manufactured to comply with the Safety Standard ASTM F1004.
When used as a safety gate, never use without wall ttings.
When used as a hearth gate, always place the gate minimum 75cm away from the source of heat / re and minimum 90cm from
open re.
Since every replace / wood burning stove reaches different temperatures, the above placing is only intended as a guideline. Test
your own unit at maximum heat output before placing the gate. If the gate is hot to touch, move gate further from heat source than
the recommended minimum distance.
Check and tighten mountings regularly.
Never allow child to climb or swing on gate.
Do not use if any part of gate is broken or missing.
When folded, store away from children.
This product will not necessarily prevent all accidents.
Never leave child unattended.
Use only approved spare parts and accessories from the manufacturer.
Use only with locking mechanism securely engaged.
Install according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
When used as a re surround, this product is not a re guard. It is intended to keep children away from the area surrounding the
replace.
Do not leave anything in the hearth gate which could provide a foothold or create a danger of suffocation or strangulation.
When used as a hearth gate be aware of the risk of open re and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar res, gas res,
etc in the vicinity of the hearth gate.
Read all instructions before assembly and use of the gate. Keep
instructions for future use.
