1.InstallationRequirements
This fingerprint lock is not configured with a handle, and the user can install it on the door as desired. The
fingerprintlockisapplicabletodoorsof3550mminthickness.
2. Makesureofthedooropeningdirectionsandlockbodydirections
(1).Make sureofthedooropeningdirections.Thelockbody'soutsideandinsidecan'tbesetcontrary.Assume
you are standing outside and facing a door and then thereare four door opening directions: Left inward, left
outward, right inward and right outward. Left inward/outward means the door swings inward/outward with
hinges on the left; right inward/outward means the door swings inward/outward with hinges on the right, as
showninthefollowing Figure1:

1. Determine the installation height and installation location; stick the holedrilling template to an appropriate
locationaccordingtothedooropeningmode,asshownin Figure 41.
2. Insertthe Lock Body into thematching Hole Slot. asshownin Figure5:
?Note:There hasa"•UP"flagontheLockBody.BeforeinstallingtheLockBody,confirmhowtoinstallit
basedonthetipflag.
SetthelengthoftheLockBodybasedonthedistancefromtheDoorEdgetothecenterofthecircle(thatis,the
openingholedistanceisabout60mmor70mm,asshownin Figure41).
Theopeningdistancematching thedefaultlength ofthelockbodyis60mm.Ifthedistanceof70mmisrequired,
resetthelengthofthelockbodyinthe followingsteps:
(1). Holdthepart ①ofthe Lock Body,rotatethepart ② by 45°,andpullbackpart ②. Asshownin Figure42.
(2).Rotatepart②by45°inthe otherdirectiontomakethecardpillaroftheLockBodytobeembeddedintothe
matchingcardholeof70mm.Thatis,setthelengthoftheLock Body to70mm.
JNote: WhenyoushortenthelengthoftheLock Body,performthefollowingsteps:
(1). Hold the part ①, rotate the part② by45°, and push part ② ahead. (2). Rotate part ② by45° inthe other
directiontomakethecardpillarofthe LockBody tobeembeddedintothematchingcardholeof60mm.
(3). Tosetthelockas"LeftOpen" or "RightOpen" ontheRear panel Assembly,shownas Figure3:
Asshownin Figure3,therehasa "Leftopen/RightOpen" setSwitchontheRearpanelAssemblyofthefingerprint
lock.Theusercanturntheswitchtotheleftside(L),namely setthedoor'sopeningdirectionsas"LeftOpen";if
turntheswitchtotherightside(R),thensetthedoor'sopeningdirectionsas"RightOpen".
Note:① Before installthefingerprintlock,youmustmakesureofthe door'sopeningdirectionasLeftOpenor
RightOpenatfirst;②Accordingtothedoor'sopeningdirection,switchthe"Left/RightOpen"setswitchtothe
corresponding position (Left Open, then switch to the left side; Right Open, then switch to the right side); ③

3. After the procedure is completed, fix the Lock Body using a screwdriver, as shown in Figure 6. Insert the
screwdriver intothecrossshapedhole of theLockBody. Whenyourotate thecylinderclockwise,itsprings out
automatically,asshowninFigure7.Whenyourotatethecylindercounterclockwise,itspringsbackautomatically,
asshownin Figure8.

5.BatteryLowVoltageProtection
Whenthebatteryislow,therearealarmsignalstowarnuserstochangethebatteryasfollows:
(1). When the battery voltage is lower than 4.8V, the buzzer will make short sharp sounds for five times when
startingthemachine.Userscanunlockitnormallybutfailtoentertheadministrativemode.
(2).Whenthebatteryvoltageislowerthan4.5V,thebuzzerwillmakeshortsharpsounds forfivetimes,andthen
themachinewillbeswitchedoffautomatically.
JNote:Whenthelowvoltagealarmoccurs,pleasechangethebatteryintimetoavoidtheimpactontheworkof
the fingerprint lock. Avoid losing data caused by instable power supply (It is suggested to change the battery
immediately whenthebatteryvoltageislowerthan4.8V).
Ⅹ. TheBasicOperation
Ⅰ. ChangeMasterPassCode(MPC)
1. Press keytostartlock,andthenentertheVerifyState.TheLEDflashesgreenlight,andtheNumpadarea's
bluelightwillbeon.
2.Pressandholdthe keyuntilyouhear1longbeepandtheGreenLEDputout,andthentheKeypadarea
FlashesBluelight.Pressnumberkey of thelocktoinputthedefaultMPC"98989",andthenpress key to
entertheManagementMode. ThegreenLEDputoutandtheKeypadareacontinueflashbluelight.
2.Precautions
(1).Afterthefingerprintlockisinstalled,thelockisintheteststate,andthereforeanyfingerprintsandpasswords
canopen the lock.You must modify theMaster Pass Code(MPC).Thelockcan be used normally only afterthe
UserIDofanadministratorisentered.IftheMPCisnotmodified,theotherfunctionsofthesystemexceptforthe
initialization system are not available in the management mode. If no administrator is registered, ordinaryusers
cannotalsoberegistered.
JNote: Themethodandstepof changeMasterPassCode,Enroll AdministratorandEnrollOrdinaryuser,please
see BL100 Fingerpri ntLock UserManual.
(2).Donotremovebatterieswhenmatching,enrollingordeletingfingerprintsbecausethesuddenpowerdownmay
resultindatalossoffingerprintlocks.Priortoremovingbatteries,makesurethefingerprintlockisnotinworking
state.
(3).Itisrecommendedtoreplacethefingerprintlockbatteriesatleastonceeverysixmonthstoavoiddamagingthe
circuitduetothebatteryleakage.Donotusebatterieswithpoorquality.
3. LEDBacklightIndicators
TheLEDBacklightIndicatorscontentthreecolors:Red,GreenandBlue.

1.Thelocksurfaceisforbiddentocontactcorrosivesubstances.Otherwise,theprotectivelayerofthelocksurface
maybedamaged,andtherefore the glossinessofthelocksurfacemaybedecreased.Tokeepthelocksurfaceglossy,
usethefurniturepolishwaxtopolishthelocksurfaceregularly.
2. Usetheclothtocleandirtafterthefingerprintcollectorisusedforlongtime.
3.Changebatteriesintimewhenthealarmonthelowpowerrings.Youmustreplacethefouroldbatterieswithfour
newbatteriesofthesamebrand(the alkalinebatteryof1.5V)once.
4. Regularlycheckwhetherscrewsareloose.
(2)Ifverificationfailed.Thebuzzerwillgivetwoshortbeeps,theredLEDat keywilllightfor3s,thenthe
greenLEDwillflash,theusercanusefingerprinttoverifyagainuntilverifysuccessful.
Ø ThePasswordVerification
1. Press keytostartthelockandentertheVerifyState.
2. Pressnumberkeyoflocktoinputthecorrect4digitspassword,andpress keytoconfirm.
(1)Ifthe password iscorrect,thenverify successful,the buzzerwill give along beepandunlock automatic,the
greenLEDatFingerprintCollectorwillputout,theGreenLEDat keywilllightfor3s,atthismomentyou
canpressthe keytolock.
(2)Ifthe passwordiswrong, thentheverification failed.The buzzerwillgivetwo shortbeeps,the RED LEDat
keywilllightfor3s,thenthegreenLEDwill flash,the usercaninputpasswordtoverifyagainuntilverify
successful.
JNote:Aftersuccessfulverification,thelockisinunlockingstate.Ifyouwanttolock,press keytostart
thelock,andthenpressthiskeyagaintolockandpoweroff.
Ⅴ.DeleteUser
Ø Deleteauser
1.Press keyto startthe lockandentertheVerify State.Seethe methods on howtoenter the management
modeinthe EnrollaFingerprint O rdinaryUsers.
2. Press"3"onthelocktoentertheDeleteUserMode.
3.Pressnumberkeyofthelocktoinputthe User'sIDwhichoneyouwanttodelete,andthenpress keyto
confirm.InputtheuserIDagain,andpress keytoconfirm,thebuzzerwillgivealongbeep,the key
lightsgreenlight,namelysuccessfuldeletetheuser.
4.Afterdeletingtheuser,youcanrestartthefingerprintlockandverifythedeleteduser'sfingerprintsorpassword
againtocheckwhethertheuserisdeletedforsure.
