Care and Cleaning Assembling Your Mandoline
Thisstainlesssteelmandolineisdesignedtorequireonlyminimal
maintenance.Thebodyandthebladesaredishwashersafe,buthand
washingisrecommendedtoextendproductlife.Thebuiltinsliceblade
canberemovedforsharpeningorreplacement.Seethismanualfor
instructiononremovalofthisblade.Whenstoringtheunit,alwaysturn
thecontroldialto“0”or“safe”topreventaccidentalcuts.

TO PREVENT INJURY:
Be aware of the blades built into the
mandoline before attempting to clean.
•Itisrecommendedtowashthemandolineinhotwater
beforeuse.
•Itshouldalsobewashedaftereveryuse,withhotsoapy
waterinthesinkorinthedishwasher.
•Rinsewithhotwaterinordertoflushoutresidue.
•Youmaythentowelorairdry.
•Donotcleanthemandolinewithanyimplementsthatmight
damagetheedgeoftheblades.
•Themandolinedoesnotrequireanylubricationoroil.
Lubricantsthatareunsafeforhumanconsumptionshould
notbeapplied.

sideupandplaceitona
sturdysurface.
3. Usingthecontroldialas
showninImage 3,pressin
theouterringtowardsthe
mandolinetounlockthedial.
Thenproceedtoselectthe
typeofcutyoudesire.
4. Placethefoodtobeprocessed
intothefoodsafetyholder.
Usingtheholderwith
downwardpressure,move
backandforthacrossthe
cuttingbladestoprocessfood.

Forbestresults,keeptheholderparallel
tothemandolineasshowninImage 4.
5. Proceeddownwardwiththe
fooditemwithoutstopping
untilyou’vereachedthe
bottomofthemandoline
asshowninImage 5.
Keepagoodslicingpace,as
themomentumfromtopto
bottomhelpsmakeslicing
mucheasier.
Keep your hands on top of the safety
holder at all times when using the
mandoline to prevent injury.
DO NOT USE WITHOUT THE FOOD
SAFETY HOLDER AS THE BLADES
ARE EXTREMELY SHARP.
