Tools Required:
Two 3/4" wrenches or sockets
Two 9/16" wrenches or sockets
One 1/2" wrench or socket
One 3/8" wrench or socket
Thin-nosed pliers
Wire cutters

ASSEMBLY
Remove crate top and sides. Remove shipping bag and
cut straps retaining unit to crate bottom. DO NOT cut
cable ties retaining cylinder to beam.
Support draw bar (# 1). Remove and dispose of four 1/4 x
1/2" Taptite bolts retaining draw bar to frame.
a. Fold front stand (# 6) down and lock in place with
lock pin (# 7).
b. Position draw bar in frame and attach using four
1/2 x 1" hex bolts (# 2) and four 1/2" hex nuts (#
3). Insert bolts from inside of frame with hex nuts
on the outside. Make sure that front stand is
facing down before attaching.
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand the entire Safety section in the
Owner’s Manual before proceeding.
DO NOT start engine until instructed and all
assembly steps have been completed.

Cut straps.

Remove and
dispose.

Ensure that beam lock (# 14) is seated in hole and rotate
beam (# 11) into horizontal position until it locks into
position. Lock must engages fully.
Remove three hex bolts retaining stripper plate (# 13)
from each side and remove stripper plates. Retain for
installation.
a. Remove hair pin, washer, and clevis pin retaining
wedge (# 10) to hydraulic cylinder. Retain for
assembly.
b. Slide wedge away from hydraulic cylinder.
c. Cut cable ties retaining cylinder to beam.
Position hydraulic cylinder into the beam yokes and
install one stripper plate.

CAUTION: Avoid Injury! Keep hands and
fingers clear. Cylinder assembly will drop
slightly when clevis pin is removed.

Position cylinder
in yokes.

Slide wedge back to cylinder and reinstall clevis pin,
washer and hair pin.
a. Remove the cotter pin (# 16) and clevis pin (#
15) from the control lever (# 9).
b. Rotate control lever up to control valve and
reinsert the clevis pin.
c. Insert cotter pin back into clevis pin and spread
ends outward.
d. Install remaining stripper plate.
a. Attach hydraulic hose to draw bar using P-clamp
(# 4), 3/8 x 1" hex bolt (# 19) and hex nut (# 20).
b. Roll unit off of crate bottom.
a. Add ISO 32 hydraulic fluid (# 18) to reservoir.
See owner’s manual.
b. Check engine oil level and add if necessary. See
engine manual.
c. Add fuel and start engine and allow to warm up.
See engine manual and owners manual.
d. Fully extend and retract cylinder 3 or 4 times.
e. Stop engine.
f. Check hydraulic fluid level on dipstick and add
more fluid if necessary.

Install clevis pin, washer and hair pin.
