1. Install a 9 Volt battery (sold separately) in the bottom of the
CT2 chassis. Turn the knob to the BATTERY CHECK position
to test the battery.
2. Connect a cable to test (see diagram on right).
NOTE: When testing a cable with banana connectors, the
yellow LED will light and a test tone will be audible if the cable
passes continuity.
3. Turn the knob to select the cable pin to test (see screening on
chassis for PIN reference). The LED pair for the selected pin
will light if the cable passes. If an LED for an unselected PIN
lights, this indicates a short is made between the selected and
indicated PIN.
